COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is a session bitter based loosely on an 1800’s recipe and brewed initially for the Tolpuddle Pilgrims. As a nod towards to transportation of the Tolpuddle Martyrs to Australia I have include a whole heap of Australian hops (Ella) for additional flavour and aroma. A fruity and floral aroma is enanced by coffee malt flavours and a long bitter finish. A refreshing drink for a weary pilgrim!

Cask at Reading Beer Festival. Amber-orange colour. Flavour of orange and grass and dust. A bit grubby, a bit thin. A rather sub-optimal brew.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance -amber with nae heid even if poured from a height. Nose - light orange and malt bag. Taste - dry biscuits and light orange again. Palate - light bodied with a dry crunchy texture and a fairly clean finish. A bit flat though. Overall - it’s under carbonated so expect that’s why the hops haven’t come through.
