(25cl bottle, BB 12/05/10) Pours a hazy ruby body with a small white head. Aroma of sugar, cardboard, and fruit. Flavor of artificial fruit (cranberry, raspberry, cherry) and sugar. Abio (1868) - BERMUDA - OCT 10, 2010
Looks pink with a medium head that sticks ok, but should hold some longer. Arificial smell. Sweet, "red fruits". Worse smell then sweet soda. Taste is a bit better. the sweetnes and fruits are there for sure, but I expected worse. Not my thing for sure, please use at least some real fruits in a fruit beer. Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this beer.
The beer pours an orange-pink color with a white head. The aroma is wheat with some raspberry and apple notes. The flavor is about what you would expect after reading the back label. I get apples, cranberries and raspberries, as well as some wheat notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - SEP 21, 2010
Bottled (From BierZwerg.de). Hazy slightly reddish orange colour with mediumsized off-white pale pinkish head that leaves some lace. Aroma is fruits, berries, some mild sugary and cardboardy notes as well. Flavour is red berries, some mild witbierlike tartness along with mild herbal notes. Not that offending actually. Murky pinky color, small off-white head. Aroma is papery, dry, rasberry, rasberry stones and rubber. Medium-bodied. Sweet artifical flavor of rasberries and cherries - almost like drinking cherry juice (commercial). Light tartness in the finish - cranberries?
Bottle in Brussels. Red body with pinkish head. Nose of sugar and fruits. Quite tasty and sweet. Relaxed taste. Not bad at all. Embrouille (2854) - SWITZERLAND - AUG 5, 2010
Bottled 25cl. The nose is rather nice and inviting. Nice components of cranberry, raspberry and apple. A lot of residual sugars in the finish. Bov (13004) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - AUG 3, 2010
from Drinks of the World, Bern - pours a cloudy pinkish-orange colour with a bad head retention; huge aroma of raspberry’s ice cream; very sweet and quite thin-bodied, a hint of acidity , far too low to bring a decent balance; tons of residual sugars in a long sticky raspberry finish - plain awful suprchunk (2994) - Crestview, Florida, USA - JUL 18, 2010
Pours a cloudy pinkish color with a white head that is faintly pink. Looks a bit like a watermelon in the glass. Very fruity. You can smell the fruit aroma from quite a distance away. A little bit of an off flavor underneath. Smells a bit sour. Maybe they tried saving a bad batch of their normal wit with some fruit juice. A bit tart on the front. Tastes fruity, but not very much cranberry taste. Or raspberries. Definite apple flavor, which is understandable since it is listed in the ingredients. Tastes more like a wine cooler than a fruit beer. Medium mouth feel. It’s not as thin as I thought it would be. The sourness from the tart fruits definitely lingers. But so does the off flavor, and maybe a bit of raspberries now. Quite drinkable given it’s flaws. The malternative crowd might find this more pleasing than beer geeks, but it wouldn’t be bad to consume a bunch of these low alcohol, fruity beers while sweating outside. I wouldn’t, but someone may. sebletitje (10219) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JUN 9, 2010
25 cl bottle. Ironic that the label mentions that this beer is actually using apple juice with the cranberry. 15% fruits in total.
pours reddish with thin pinkish head.
aromas, red berries, and hints apple juice.
flavors, touch of yeast, light cranberry palate followed by some astringent apple flavors, raspberries are mild though present and adding a faint tart palate. To be noticed, the use of fructose extracts adding a more fake industrial feel.
Finish is thin and watery.
