Haagen is a decent beer and totally worth buying especially when on sale at countdown for 12 for $15

UPDATED: OCT 11, 2017 Taste like hops mixed with my granddads old shoe. Occasionally makes me fart. Still better than anything North Korea makes, but not as great as Speights. If I was offered a drink of this Lager, I will take up the offer and drink again.

Here in NZ, this is 1 of the cheapest imported beers available, not much over $1 a bottle! A fairly light lager, with a slightly bitter aftertaste, it’s very good value for money.

Malty aroma. Darker golden colour with very poor head. Malty honey flavor with honey aftertaste. Medium body with low carbonation.

Actually a pleasant sweet malt aroma of this ’budget’ beer. Light clean taste, relatively inoffensive bitterness, little hop presence. Light mouth-feel and poor head retention. An easy drinker.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden yellow colour with a thin white head, aroma is light malt with some grass, taste is sweet with citrus fruit with a dry finish.

OLD NOTES OCT 9, 2003 Actually thought it was European at first. I was played a fool. Very sweet and easy. Smells a bit strange and leaves quite bad after taste in your mouth after way to many. Cheap, but better than the alternatives at the price.

The head is medium, body blond. It smells watery, bit malty, stale. The taste is watery, bit malty, stale, metal. Crap

For a cheapy a more aromatic nose, but quite soapy on the palate. Hints of flavour, but more being able to chop quantity than delivering quality.

330 ml bottle pours yellow not much aroma bitter taste. Aftertaste is bitter and long lasting. Easy drinking summer beer
