UPDATED: JUL 25, 2017 Great example of a northern German beer. Clear citrus and other hoppy notes. Complex and rich in esters. Very clean and dry finish.

Bottle from a store in Germany (got it from a friend). Some pale bread and fruits on the nose. Similar taste, quite sweet. Earthy aroma. Like any pale lager, a bit too sweet and lacks hops almost completely Clean and drinkable though.

Typical German pils with crispy bitterness, clear water and a refreshing finish.

Many thanks for this beer to kevnic2008. Butelka typu baczek. piana srednia szybko opada ale ciut jej zostaje na pilsnerskim pokalu. Zapach syropu kukurydzianego. W smaku modyfikowana kukurydza, soja i jakby ciecierzyca. Dziwne troche typowe ale czyuc i smakiem i aromatem ze to produkt niskiej jakosci.

goldgelb, klar mit weißem Schaum. Getreidig, würzig, leicht herb. Moderat bitter, etwas wässriger Abgang. Trinkbar.

0,33l Flasche. Goldenes Pils mit kleiner Schaumkrone. Leicht malziger Geruch, auch im Geschmack sehr zurückhaltend.

Grumpelmies (318) - GERMANY - DEC 9, 2016
Draft. Clear and bright looks of a Pils. Smells and tastes like a nothern German Pils. Dry, grassy, earthy, musty, bitter. Good carbonation. Refreshing and sessionable. By no means outstanding but way better than Beck’s...

2.9
aleigator (945) - GERMANY - AUG 6, 2016
Pours a crystal clear golden color, with a fluffy, big head. Smells of coppery straw, sweeter malts and wet hay. Has a lively carbonation, together with a light bodied, refreshing tasting beer. Tastes watery, with a bubbly carbonation, opening up the palate to herbal, dry hops. Has an overly sweet middle part with a watery, slightly leafy finish. Not bad, regarding its recognizable hop profile, taming overly sweet malts for a longer while.

3.3
Benzai (15711) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUL 6, 2016
Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, a bit grainy, straw, decently bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Not bad.

2.9
WillemsUrenkel (1898) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - MAY 23, 2016
0,33 l bottle. Clear golden in the glass, one finger white head. Smells grainy grassy, low hop. Taste starts gainy, some malt, low bitterness for an north west geman Pilsener. Increasing bitterness in the second part. Okay, nothing really wrong, but only an average german industrial Pilsener
