(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm) Dark brown colour with hints of ruby. Frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly smoky nose with notes of honey, peat and juniper wood. Malty taste with hints of smoke, peat, honey, juniper berries, mountain bog and tart hints of lingonberries (it’s not cranberries). Almost full body, with a certain sweetness and some bitterness. Quite complex, and quite nice.

gnoff (10152) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - FEB 27, 2013
Draught at Ölrepubliken during "Närkevecka", on February 27, 2013
Cloudy dark brown color, dense tan head. Smooth, heather honey, smoke, perfume, alcohol scent. Malty, red berries, some smoke taste. Tad acidic, mainly hay and some aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
If smoked beers is not for you, don’t get this one!
Also get honey after a while in the aftertaste. A dry wood sensation that comes through a bit in the mouthfeel as well. The acidity bothers me a bit and lowers the taste as well as the overall score. Could be the lingonberry mixed with alcohol notes that throws me off.
Didn’t catch the juniper myself.
