Draft at blue monk, dram brown black pour, fuller mouthfeel. Big smokey aroma. Big smoke flavor, somewhat one dimensional via smokiness. Jammy sweetness under smokiness. Pretty good Koelschtrinker (21489) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - DEC 17, 2012
Honigartiger Beginn mit leichter Säure. Wenig Alkohol, dann wieder Honig, wenig herb. Gewöhnungsbedürftig, mild dunkelmalzig. 11/10/9/9//9

B.C."H."-like; veiled brown beer. Wildsauce aroma, spicy-peppery, wood, leather, musk. Short sourish flavour on spicy-musky, perfumey flashing background, vinous; weird wild fruit, dry and smoked. Black chocolate retronasal. Utterly flat, lost all carbonation; thinnish body, just a faint slickness. Absolutely unique beer! Shame about the carbonation; there is hardly a beer really comparable. Lingonberries are NOT the same as cranberries, please! Ozzak (43) - BERGEN, NORWAY - NOV 20, 2012
Bottle at home. Pours dark brown, almost black. Little or no head.
Aroma is first and foremost honey, then some smoky malts. Not very appealing, reminds me of the smell from cigarettes left in stale beer overnight. Taste is more of the same, mixed with some berries, and a slight taste of the juniper leaving some bitterness on the finish. Not my kind of beer. stobbe74 (3790) - DENMARK - NOV 19, 2012
Sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2012. Pours a clear and brown beer with a white head. The aroma is malt, tropical fruit and sweetness. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is sweetness. Overall an average beer.

Borefts Beer Festival IV. Day 1. Hazy amber - brown beer. Good pale tan head. Honey! Lots of honey! Mild sourness and a little lactose. Semi dry finish. Interesting.
Bottled at SMÖF. Dark brown, small head. Very smoky with some wood and juniper. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Smoke and honey, some vinous cranberry tartness. Low bitterness. Rustic. tmrmwel (2269) - Bergen, NORWAY - NOV 5, 2012
Bottle. Pours an almost black dark brown, with a small airy head. Aroma is smoky malts, heather and honey sweetness. Body is normal, with soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet with roasted malts and honey, with fruity notes as well as raisins and molasses.
