3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle. Pours a hazy deep ruby, with a small off-white head, which neither last very well nor leaves much lacing. Woody, musty, sour and blueberry notes make up the aroma. Fruity sourness up front leads into tart apple skin. A touch of blueberry comes in leading through into the mid-palate, which has some dusty, woody sour notes. Sour blueberry comes in at the finish. The blueberry is not a particularly strong feature of this beer. It’s there, but it certainly doesn’t dominate it. All in all this is quite a nice sour ale.
500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, from trade with Gunnar. Pours deep reddish purpley brown, thin off-white head. Lovely thorny lambic aroma, taste is crisp with an intense, but enjoyable vinegary acetic sour character. Soft fruity elements. Good lambic, aged nicely. Bottle shared by omhper, thanks.
No head. Clowdy red brown color.
Small brettnomyces aroma. Big brett taste and a rather hard acidity. The bluberries arn’t to be found? Reynolds314 (3470) - Connecticut, USA - NOV 28, 2014
Nice glass of hot vinegar here. Acetic acid is burning my throat while i think about my rating. Aroma is very mild blueberries, PS why do blueberry sours turn into vinegar bombs if you dont drink them immediately? So incredibly tart that i dont really want more. A bit murky and earthy in there too but cant get past the acid.

HAHAHAHA, this was possible the tartest beer ive ever had. The were some flavors in there that I guess were blueberries at some point. Tree branches, dirt and dead leaves, with unrelenting tartness. You literally stick your tongue out trying to swallow it. And when I use the word literally i dont mean like a tween using it every sentence. This shit is sour. It’s also rediculously overpriced. Bottle 50cl kindly shared by Calisky. A dark amber beer with low head. Nose is very nice on sour cherries and lot of yeast notes as for American sour ales. Aroma is on dry and sour notes, cherries and red fruit skin notes, clean, acid, oak notes, light vinegar, very good stuff. Finish on wet oak and cherries. daje (4436) - NORWAY - AUG 5, 2014
Bottle. Hazy redtinted amber body with a small offwhite head. Aroma of tart blueberry, raspberry, light malt hint. Sweet and sour berry taste, with lasting acidic fruits, dry sour finish, lovely fruit and berry aftertaste. Very nice! Oldmanriver (59) - Freiburg, GERMANY - AUG 4, 2014
Very Solid sour beer Deep dark cherry notes rounded out with slight oak and hints of blueberries. Strong Brett presence with a sharp acidic bite.
