Bottle bought in NYC in August 2012, labeled as Haandbryggeriet Coffee Porter.
Black with a huge tan head. This was a rather soft one with coffee both in the aroma and taste. Also chocolate, malt, nuts and something "green". Nicely drinkable.

8/XI/12 - 50cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - brewed: 3/IV/12 - bottled: 18/IV/12 (2012-1258) MOARBEER (791) - WALES - NOV 17, 2012
Very dark brown to black beer, aery beige head, unstable, adhesive. Aroma: lots of coffee, bit smoky, dark caramel. Taste: bit sourish, dark caramel, mocha, coffee, dark ripe red fruits, bit of overripe fruits, dark chocolate. Aftertaste: chocolate, cocoa powder, coffee, charcoal, little smoky, ashes.
Nicely ballanced coffee, choclolate and some late vanilla. Finish is dry and not as bitter as one might expect. Nice. BeerBaboon (2159) - FINLAND - NOV 16, 2012
Pannullinen Costa Ricaa on mustaa ja omaa kauniin beigen vaahdon. Tuoksu on häkellyttävän kermakahvinen. Tulee mieleen esim. Odin’s Tipple, joka oli erinomainen olut.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color porter with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of aromatic coffee is quite nice with light dry roasted malt notes. Taste is a good mix between aromatic coffee notes with little astringency and roasted malt with a dry finish. Body is quite full for style with good carbonation. Very tasty coffee porter with very subtle smoky notes that I usually associated with the Haand brewery. Sarpa (1678) - FINLAND - NOV 16, 2012
bottle 50cl @ Konttori, cheers olio. Pours dark brown , some head. Coffee, bitterness, some bitterness in the aroma. Coffee beans, ash in the flavor. Quite like Mocha Bomb but sweeter, quite nice. andrewturba (1190) - Alberta, CANADA - NOV 13, 2012
Pours a very dark brown with fine brown head leaving a nice sticky lace. Left behind is a bit of a yeast cake in the bottom of the bottle and little in the glass. The flavour is really unlocked as it warms up. The aroma is of dry coffee and chocolate malt, very robust. Flavour is a sweet chocolate, with a dry coffee finish. Fantastic coffee porter Reimer96 (1778) - Alberta, CANADA - NOV 13, 2012
Pours a murky dark black with a big brown head that dissipates quickly but leaves some lace. Smell?s of coffee a d chocolate with a bit of a salty black olive smell. Taste is chocolate up front with some coffee bitterness on the finish. Very full flavored and blends together very well. Excellent obscure beer! Pours a lovely black colour, with a mocha coloured head that eventually dies down to a fine lacing. Aroma of fresh roasted coffee, tobacco, ash, hint of milk & sugar. Flavour is a nice balance of slightly bitter roasted coffee bean, roasted malt, dark bitter chocolate and a smackering of hops creeping in, with a hint of sweetness from the lactose rounding things off nicely. Good carbonation giving a nice medium to heavy body. All leading to a nice, fresh, drying, long bitter finish. A great coffee porter!
