COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Double" (imperial) wheat stout.
This imperial really strikes back. From a strange country far, far away, comes the only Imperial Wheat Stout in the known universe. Once again, the ’Hand’ brewery - four guys brewing in their spare time, on an absurdly small scale - boldly goes where no brewery has gone before.

Bottle. Sensoric. Pitch black with big, semi-densed, light brown head. Poor to mediocre head retention, poor lacing. Aroma is nice, fresh fortified with roasted malts (mainly milk chocolate) and very nice dark fruits aroma (plums, cherries), good mocha. Secondly you can find here some vanilla, smoke, licorice and some roasted grains. Taste is medium bitter, nicely balanced with some semi-sweet malty notes. Full body, oily texture, average carbonation, finish is nice. long fruity with nice roastiness. In general very good, drinkable, refreshing RIS with nice touch of roastiness. Go for it !!

Inky black pour with a thin tan head that recedes and leaves nothing behind. Oily nose that full of roasty black malt and licorice and a touch of soy sauce. Smooth and slick flavor that’s a touch of dark bittersweet chocolate, a lot of black malt, a little roast, and this inescapable tone of soy sauce that’s almost ruining the whole thing for me. Slick and oily mouthfeel with booze covering up any stoutly chocolaty wheaty nuance. Just dark, licorice, and soy-saucy roast malt and booze.

Black color, very solid brown head. Full body and smooth texture. Aromas of soy sauce and chocolate. Nice and very long staying bitterness, a little bit salty. Despite the 9% alcohol is not noticeable and it’s surprisingly easy to drink. Overall very good beer.

Tap @CBC16. Black with thick beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roast and light hints of smoke.Flavour has coffee, raost and dark chock. A litle thin considering the aroma, had expected more. Long, coffee bitter finish. Ok.
