Bottle with expiry date 07.2017. Aroma is quite intensive dark chocolate, some wood, a bit of ash, a bit of hops. Alcohol not very well hidden. Full body. Lack smoothness. Je ne trouve pas que le blé fait une si grande différence que ça, ici. C’est une bière légèrement fûmée, assez costaude. Pas de notes de café ou de chocolat, ou alors très peu. Bottle, batch #943. Aroma is dark chocolate, coffee, toffee, cocoa, hints of ash, dark caramel. Black, nice light brown head. Medium sweetness, light to medium bitterness, taste is bitter chocolate, port, dark plums, some roasted notes. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, long sweet finish with increasing bitterness. Bottle from The Drunk Monk, Mataro - Spain. Color: deep dark black beer with small carbonation and small brown head. Smell: roasted malt and high coffee notes. Mocha presence. Caramel finish. Taste: full body with superb roasted malt coffee notes. Very nice beer. Good mocha and nice attenuation. Quiet drinkable. Aftertaste: roasted malt and coffee, alcohol finish. 50 cL bottle. Black with a big light brown head. Dark chocolate, wheat, vanilla wafers, light coffee bitterness and heavy cream. Moderately sweet with a mild light roast coffee bitterness. Heavy body with a syrupy feel.
