Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks kerenmk. Black with a big brown head. Roasty aroma of coffee, burnt wood and a bit of cocoa. Bittersweet roasty flavor with coffee, some chocolate, a smoky note and an ashy burnt finish. Rather full-bodied, well-carbonated (a bit too carbonated for the style). Bottle from River’s Bend. Poured black color with a large frothy brown head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate roasted coffee and dark fruit and woody smoke aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture. Solid dark roasted flavor with medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid complex beer that when well with a good cook out.

Idiots call this " Double extreme imperial stout" a bit redundant. It is a great brew though, heavy on smoke, peat, salt, minerals, and a hint of metal.
