Dark brown pour with a thick, light brown head. Aroma of raisins, chocolate, toasted, almost roasted malt. Very good flavor of chocolate, raisins, toasted, slightly roasted malt and fruit jam. The body is medium with a vinous texture and soft carbonation. It’s a very interesting beer, even if it’s a bit morbid.

Bottle. Dark dark brown to black with very thin tan head and heavy lacing. Toasted malts, dried fruits and an ever so small whiff of smoke. Chocolate flavours open the palate along with some dried Christmas fruits, followed by strong, dry roasted malts and a hint of wood smoke. Slightly over carbonated but this settles down as the beer opens up. Really like this beer.
