500ml bottle. ½ Pint glass. Enjoyed on jul´12. Very dark amber color, deep ruby to the light. Beige, close, small bubbled, crown. Fairly good retention. Aroma profile is great: roasted malts, intense herbal & spiced touch, burnt coffee, burnt bread, hints of licorice…Smooth sweet malty upfront rounded by coffee, cocoa & bready hues. Bitterness in the middle. Oily texture. Complex & velvet palate. Medium to full body, moderate to soft carbonation. Coffee long finish. ABV well masked resolves into a refreshing & drinkable experience.

Tap at Paradiso Georgetown. Pours a near black in the glass with a powerful, brown, thick head. Looks like a serious porter. Aroma is heavy tiramisu, melaga gelato, rum soaked lady fingers. Actually a very similar rich, spicy, Kahlua and Baileys aroma that I get from Odin’s Tipple. But this one is even better: mace, cinnamon, maple candies, and smoke comes through. It is just an unbelievably good aroma. Taste is oily chocolate, spices, rum raisin, tiramisu, and just extending the beauty of the aroma. Palate is soft and beautiful: rich and oily, sharp alcohol and pillowy carbonation. Whoa. DutchDrebus (6092) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - JUN 14, 2011

Bottle at home... Deep dark brown... Thin tan lacing... Soft chocolate roast nose... Dark chocolate malts... Big berryfruits... Quite a lot of alcohol.. But rich and intense... Little licorice M_Sack (761) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - AUG 3, 2014
Bottle. Dark dark brown to black with very thin tan head and heavy lacing. Toasted malts, dried fruits and an ever so small whiff of smoke. Chocolate flavours open the palate along with some dried Christmas fruits, followed by strong, dry roasted malts and a hint of wood smoke. Slightly over carbonated but this settles down as the beer opens up. Really like this beer.
