Pours a dark cola brown color with a small off white head that disappeared. The aroma and flavor have tart dark berries, mild roast, wood, chocolate, funk, a hint of peaty smoke, finishes with the berry tartness and wood.

Draft. A red beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw, and caramel. The flavor is a bit acidic with notes of malt, straw, and caramel, leading to a dry finish.

Eructoblaster (4101) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 30, 2016
Bottle - 500ml. Black body with low carbonation and a fading, beige bubbly/creamy head. Robust malty/hoppy aroma with woody, vineous, and brett hints. Its well balanced taste carries woody, plummy, and vineous notes. Ends with a long, moderately warming, sour finish. Good stuff.

Bottle shared by czar, thanks bro! Pours a reddish brown with a beige rim on top that leaves low/some lacing. Nose is of roasted malt, ash, slight umami and red fruits. Taste is moderately tart and pretty dry with more umami, smoke/ash again and some raspberry impressions. Body is medium, carbonation moderate and it feels vinous. I feared it was going to be over the top acidic (Hello, Haanbakk) but it is not. A pretty good dark sour, not too intense. Could do without the ashy character, though.

pours hazy light brown with a small light beige cap offering some retention and lacing. peppery and mineral coffee, woodsy grapes, leathery caramel, citric cherries - medium acidity; soft bretted red apples, salt. moderate carbonation, light body - thin; tart spicy-woodsy finish. not overdone like other haandbryggeriet sour ales - nice dark foreign sour ale.
