Bottle. Pours black, with a very small head. Aroma is lactic, with sour raisins, cherries and berries. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is lactic, with balsamic vinegar, and some tart berry notes. Pretty strange.

sebletitje (10286) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JUN 1, 2016
Draft sample @ Haand fest ’16, Drammen. Shared with the Norwegian tasting crew.

Nonshaugen (652) - Fetsund, NORWAY - MAY 30, 2016
50 cl bottle, batch #805. Deep mahogany / cherry colour in front of a light bulb, no head, no visible carbonation. Cherry aroma jumps right out of the bottle and hit my nose. Mouthfeel is on the dry side, flavour is packed with fermented red berries, and lasts for a long time. Sourness is not at the overwhelming end of the scale, it should be drinkable for most beer lovers out there i.m.o.

tfredvik (2027) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 29, 2016
UPDATED: JUN 3, 2016 Clear deep brown body with a small beige head. Strong aroma of fermented red berries, caramel and funky yeast. Strong flavour that follows the aroma. Moderate sweet taste, light to moderate sourness and a long-lasting light bitter finish. Mid-bodied with a close to flat carbonation (which I guess is due to the fact that I sampled a glass that had circulating our table for quite some time. Aaah, the magic of beer festivals!).
[sample @ Haandbryggeriet ølfestival 2016 Drammen, shared with bergstaden, sebletitje and some friendly Untappd-ers]

500 ml bottle from the Party Source at home. Pours a dark cola brown color with a small off white head that disappeared. The aroma and flavor have tart dark berries, mild roast, wood, chocolate, funk, a hint of peaty smoke, finishes with the berry tartness and wood.

On bottle from Vinmonopolet Norway, on order. Dark brown almost black color, ok foam. Medium aroma intensity; stable, funky , red berries and some fruitiness. Medium body & complexity. Good sourness, some bitterness. Enjoyable

Rune (13383) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAY 25, 2016
Draught, CBC 2016, red session. Coal black body, patchy beige surface, spotty lacing. Sour dark berries and wood on the nose. Mixed taste of tart berries and dark malts, including coffee and chocolate. Tart and sweet to the ending. Fine bodied. Well balanced and quite nice (Copenhagen 14.05.2016).
