Good Force is the sister brew to Dark Force, but Good Force is a friendly brew. This is a powerful imperial wheat beer flavoured with chamomile flowers.

Draft. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is great: peaches, citrus, chamomile, bananas, some floral notes. Taste is very soft , creamy, and sweet with a bit of booziness. Still very good. I could put these down as easily as any wheat beer (and get drunk a lot faster).

Tap at Paradiso Georgetown. Sounds like a recipe for disaster: Imperial Wheat Beer from Norway. I almost vomited from Nogne O’s Imperial Dunkel Wit. This poured a hazy light orange with a baby, white head. Spots of lace. Not looking so hot. Aroma is out of this world- WTF? Giant tangerine, peach cobbler, smoked meat, cooked peaches, mace. Taste is incredibly intense: spicy alcohol, insanely rich and creamy body, sharp booziness cut by an oily palate. Peach cobbler, tangerine, sweet oranges and brandy juxtaposed with smoked meats. So much power and energy. Just one of the best beers I’ve ever had no joke. I can’t believe it.

Bottle, bought @ Bunker Beer, Cph.
Light hazy amber golden with a small, creamy, white head. Aroma is mild milky, lots of chamomile, peach, roses, light vinious, a hint of sherry. Good wheaty sweetness and a bit of caramel as base. Medium carbonation, good creamy and light dry mouthfeel. Flavour is elegant, lots of sweetness that is both fruity and wheaty. The viniousness is probably a bit too pronounced, but it is still finely drinkable with good fruity bitterness. Grapefruit, peach and a fair grassy bite. Quite nice. Not much chamomile in flavour.

Flaske 0,5l. Gave fra Rune. Aprikosfarget. Uklar. OK kremaktig skum. Urtearoma. Brukbart fyldig smak. Samme urtepreg. Lite annet. Søtlig, tørr ettersmak. Flaskestudie avsløret at urtepreget er kamomille. Ikke min smak. KI=5

500 ml bottle @den gode nabo. Slightly dim golden body with a nice but fast diminishing white head. Aroma is fantastic, fruity and floral, sweet toffee and alcohol. Flavor is almost extreme sweet, light malty with molasses, fruity, spicy, flowers, decent bitter and quite alcoholic. Palate feels fat and almost sticky. Aftertaste is mainly sweet with warming alcohol. The first few sip feels like a really pleasant beer for sipping. Unfortunately I was alone with my bottle and actually had to struggle to finish it all. After finishing the bottle I was not able to drink any more beer and feels almost like after eating one kilo of marzipan or something. I had to reduce my originally score some points, normally I’m quite capable to drink this amount of sweet beers, but this one where far above my capasity. Sorry.

500ml bottle, by courtesy of OleR. First pour is almost clear, grey-golden. Last pour is just muddy. Good amount of white foamy head with enduring qualities. Pleasant smell of coriander, wheat, notes of hay and dried fruits like figs. The taste brings sweet, spiced wheat with a touch of floral hops and faint yeast. Sweet fruity endnotes and overall rather sweet. Almost full bodied but not that heavy to drink. Has got its moments of drinking joy (hotel room, Oslo 07.02.2011).

Half pint at Cardinal’s "Onsdag i Annen". Pours hazy golden with moderate head. Real sweet. Tastes of tropical fruits, marzipan, sugars and wheat. Quite heavy but a good dessert ale, if served in small aperitif glasses. My half pint was too much.

500 ml bottle, served in snifters and shared with two friends. 2 fingers white head that completely dissolves. Foggy golden beige body. Nose: Floral, yeasty, alcohol, sweetness and wet hay. Taste: floral, alcohol-sting and toffee.

Bottle. Cammomille tea? No- a deceivingly smooth beer, perfumed with flowers. Quite heavy, almost oily. Pleasant drinking, but the flowers would be more appropriate toa 5% beer. As a summer aperitif, maybe?
