50cl bottle, Batch 145. Thick head, dark orange body. Aroma of Citrus fruit, roasted malt, and some caramel. Very soft mouthfeel. Loads of florals and citrus on a musty toasted malt. More like an English Pale, although still wonderful.

Colour looked very nice and the smell was great. Couldn’t wait to taste it. Then i tasted it and.. why can’t i taste what i just smelled? A bit dissapointing. Bit watery. drpimento (3731) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 20, 2011
Kind of an odd duck; not bad, but not great. Bottle started foaming over after opening. Poured with a huge, foamy, frothy, tan head that rapidly settles down to a light spotty cover and a little lace. Color is a cloudy, medium amber. Aroma is spicy, malt, caramel, hops, yeast, pungent. Flavor is like nose. Yeast stands out, even a tiny bit fishy. Good body and excellent carbonation. Finish is like flavor with a surprise of slight sweetness. Good burps. Reminds me of a cross between a pale ale and a farmhouse. Not a quaffer. Koelschtrinker (21175) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 14, 2011

Langer (muffig-) hopfiger Nachgeschmack.

Aroma is heavy on berries, hinting at acidity/tartness. The appearance is very dark brown and very heavily sedimented. The flavor is of complex fruit, berries again, and hops. This was a very interesting beer with a sweet/sour flavor to it, although it’d be better described as a different style because this doesn’t have the dry hop bite that the good IPAs have. mixmasterob (1058) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAY 26, 2011
Dark orange pour without much of a head, light collar. Aroma was sweet, slightly floral, somewhat piney, bits of caramel. Flavors consisted of rich caramel malts, good bit of sweetness, light floral hops. Just about no bitterness here. Smooth mouth, light carbonation. Not too shabby, a different take on the IPA here... esp0r (2928) - NORWAY - MAY 4, 2011
Tap at Amundsen. Copper clear, thin white head with large bubbles. Smells of grapefruit and flowers. Taste of roasted malts, caramel and fruity citrus. Feel is quite normal with hints of water. Bitter finish feels a bit more like a ESB, some citrus and flowers in finish cubs (10693) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - APR 21, 2011
Bottle @ home. Pours a dark orange appearance with a foamy orange-tan head. Doughy, orange citrus hoppy, light earthy nose. Spicy, juniper, piney, earthy hoppy flavor. There’s a sourness possibly from the age or an infection- I don’t think this is meant to be there. Palme (4816) - Bergen, NORWAY - APR 4, 2011
Tap @ Naboen, Bergen. Pours a deep murky orange body with a thin off-white head. Aroma is really fruity with strong notes of peach, caramel-malts, citrus, cookies and white sugar. Body is creamy and thick and the carbonation is medium. Tastes are also quite sweet and fruity. Peach, caramel-malts, nice dry and grassy bitterness from the hops and I can sense a woody finish along with the kicking bitter hops, and leaving a slightly herbal and sweet aftertaste. I quite liked this actually.
