Lore (2772) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUL 6, 2017
Hazy brown colour, minimal off-white head; aroma of burnt plum jam, dried dates, herbal liqueur, burnt sugar and maybe slight ansie; taste of dried plum soaked in 96% distilled alcohol for at least a year, or even a whole decade, herbal liqueur, burnt sugar, brittle, dates and some slight marmalade notes; good one

yoxik75 (106) - Wroclaw, POLAND - APR 24, 2017
Leżakowany, pite po terminie. Piana drobna redukuje się. Kolor herbaciany wpadający w czerwień mętny. Aromat słodowy, owoce suszone, są też świeże poziomki truskawki, karmel, słodko likierowy, średnio intensywny. Smak podobni jak w aromacie, słodowość, karmel, likierowa owocowa słodycz, melanoidyny. Goryczka wyraźna dość wysoka, ziołowo trawiasta w odbiorze, lekko alkoholowa na finiszu.

BlazerT (1138) - Sosnowiec, POLAND - MAR 7, 2017
Bottle. Sensoric. Brownish/reddish with tiny, light brown head, poor head retention and lacing. Heavy malty aroma - mainly caramel, candy-like, slightly spicy, slightly herbal. Some dark fruits in the background along with some raisins. Taste is moderate to heavy sweet with light spiced and bitter notes.Medium body, oily texture, soft to average carbonation, finish is heavy malty. In overall English-style barley wine, not really special rather old-school one, but nice, drinkable with extreme well ABV hidden.

3.2
emdejes (77) - Gent, BELGIUM - MAR 2, 2017
50 cl bottle - bbd = 17/02/2017 Rather average, malty kind of barley wine. Nothing too exceptional. Will leave one bottle to age for some more years.

Eructoblaster (4264) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 29, 2016
Bottle - 500ml. Cloudy, dark brown body with an average, lasting, off-white foamy/creamy head. Robust, rich malty/hoppy aroma with fruity, caramel, and oaky hints. Alcohol is not too agressive. Its strong malty/hoppy taste carries woody, vineous, brown sugar, and fruity notes. Ends with a long, warming bittersweet finish. Good stuff.

3.8
DerGantzel (442) - Aarhus, DENMARK - DEC 18, 2016
Aroma of malt, fruits and herbs. Hazy brown reddish appearance with a bubbly head. High sweetness and light-medium bitterness. Average carbonation and medium-full body. I find it tasteful!

3.9
