Hazy deep rosey amber with a lingering light beige cap. Bright herbaceous nose of currant and black cherries and some kind of earthy umami underpinning. Big complex flavor that's black cherry fruity sweet with an odd herbal undertone I just can't place with some currant and blueberry and a funny slightly funky Belgian yeast ester. Semisoft and semisweet and fruity, just weird in a way I can't articulate. djd07 (15341) - Houston, Texas, USA - DEC 29, 2016
Bottle at WTF 3. Pours a cloudy ruby with medium pinkish white head that lasts. The aroma is oak, cherry skin, berry. Thin body, earth, berry, cherry, malty, light tartness, good. Palme (4816) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUL 5, 2016
0.5l bottle from #552. A really nice warm red body on this, a good cloudiness also and it had a medium sized big bubbled red/pink head that’s leaving some good lacing. On the nose there is a bit of some wild berries. It actually smells kinda wild in general this. Wild bushes, a little bit of something sour that has been in the basement soft a long time and the cowberries stand out in a soft mild way. It’s quite easy and gentle to drink also. Soft oily on the mouthfeel with a below average carbonation level. Soft fruity berry flavors with some hay, wheat, soft acidic grass and a light herbal almost peppery sour aftertaste. Not a massive flavor bomb, but an elegant round different creation that fits my palate quite fine right about now. 18.08.2013 oldrtybastrd (5003) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - APR 9, 2016
Pours a nice reddish orange color. Aroma is full of dark fruit, yeasty and malts. Big almost grape like flavor with hints of something chocolate like. A real good beer. tmrmwel (2204) - Bergen, NORWAY - APR 1, 2016
Bottle. Pours clear maroon, with a small creamy head. Aroma is quite tart with dark berries, lactic acid and balsamic vinegar. Flavour sour fruits, with apples and lactic acid.

Bottle. Teku glass. Deep red with small, light brown headAroma is very fresh with strong berry notes and pale malts in the background. Light to medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, slightly alcohol warming. Nice beer experiment, very refreshing and fruity. drpimento (3733) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 16, 2015
Meh. Aroma’s the best part with the crowberries, toffee, malt. Berry flavor clashes somewhat with the other flavor components. Body is a touch thin. Kosmokrator (849) - ITALY - NOV 22, 2015
Peccato. Ivardo (43) - NORWAY - JUL 31, 2015

500ml bottle, batch 691 brewed 02/12/13 and best before 02/12/15. Hazy brown with one finger airy tan head. Aroma is tart and sour/acidic with an interesting mixture of red berries, blueberries and olives which I would assume stems from the crowberries (though I’m not really sure what a crowberryy smells like) as well as some earthy and woody/oaky notes. The taste has a surprising sweetness to it while at the same time it is tart and acidic and has a dried berry characteristic to it as well as some figs and earthiness. The mouthfeel is medium and so is the carbonation, the acidity/sourness i smoderate-low.
