This is pretty darn tasty. A nice orange brown color with tasty head. The beer is fruity, kind of like a cherry but not as sweet. Also just a tad bit smoky. I like it. Mbroom (3) - - SEP 24, 2012 does not count
50cL bottle Aus imported. Gassy with off white head that dissipates quickly. Beautiful rose water colour in glass. Lovely aroma of cherry and cranberry with stalky/earthy notes in the background. Palate is light and fresh with red berry/stalky flavours and a light malty finish. Still has plenty of that Haand Bryggeriet house style. Nice beer that is beautifully refreshing on a spring day. stchloe (1067) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 18, 2013
Everything about this beer and brewery always. Delicious in ever aspect, and gorgeous red carmel pour with a effervescent head. Has a nice carmel body that is slightly bitter and becomes slightly sweet and bubbly. Points for using local and traditional ingredients of course. snzcujo (282) - RUSSIA - NOV 15, 2012
Tasted on tap @Grove Inn, on 03/11/2012.
Pours of muddy brownish/velvety color, with a gorgeous caramely white head.
Aroma is so beautifull, very intense, having loads of lovely berry tartness mixed with biscuits - that distinct crownberry character.
Taste just beats you up with its complexity, mildly sour upfront, then going into the berries' world, following by a sweet, malty theme.

2011 btl. Murky medium red amber colour, off white medium head. Smells..crisp berries, some light kriek like sour berry, some light spice/pepper hints, a little malt too. Tastes.. A great balance between spice and fruit. I’ve never had crowberries, but the berry taste is fresh/crisp adds to a palatte cleansing mouthfeel. Quite spicey in a peppery sense, some malt too. I’d absolutely buy another one.

500ml bottle. Pours a deep ruby brown, with a large, foaming pink-tinged white head, which lasts very well. The nose shows berry notes, with a touch of grainy malt. An initial sweet, fruity taste is soon swamped by a combination of mild leafy hops and a sour, fruity flavour which I assume to be crowberry. This mixes delightfully with burnt caramel malt to create an unusual sweet-sour mix in the body. The sour crowberry flavour lingers well into a long finish, complemented by a touch of rye bread at the end. This certainly is another unusual beer from Haandbryggeriet, yet it works wonderfully, and is an extremely refreshing drink. I would make it a regular summer tipple, were it not so hard to get. cgarvieuk (24456) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 1, 2012

KansaiBeerLvrs (5141) - Kyoto, JAPAN - FEB 23, 2014
Bottle from Sugaya, aged 2-3 years shared at Ajen’s farewell party. 7.1% It pours a cloudy amber, crazy gusher. The nose is sour, fruity berries. Very smooth full bodied beer. Earthy, caramel, a bit musty, berry notes giving me blueberry vibes. Great beer. In the nose it is quite sour, but in the mouth it is incredibly smooth.
