Draught @ Borefts 12. Hazy orange to red color, small white head. Smell sour and a bit dusty. Taste lightly sour, dry finish, a bit dusty. Medium body, low to medium carbo. Strykzone (7357) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - SEP 19, 2012
Sampled at an ESBLS tasting. No carbonation visible. Light brown with orange hues. It smells funky and fruity. The taste is funky with wild yeast. Fruit is light. This is more funky than sour. Decent and drinkable for this non sour guy. jcartamdg (3436) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 29, 2012
Pours a rosey red with no head. Aroma of funk and vinegar. Aroma is a little off taste is the same. Not too good.

Bottle at Håndverkern in Oslo. It poured a dark hazy red liquid with a small head. Spicy and berry smell, also some horse blanket and farm house. Similar taste with a fairly mild sourness. Very special taste and smell from the berries. I got a dry feeling when drinking it.

At just on cool and into a shallow chalice. Hazy, deep auburn copper and devoid of life. Big waft of Brettanomyces doused in sour cherries, fruit acids, orange fizz whizz, rose water, stripped pine and sadly chemical crowberry notes. Heavily woody, driftwood flavour comes across; sawdust manages to complete it, drying out the palate. Less body than a dry white wine. There is a residual spritz to it otherwise it is flat-line. Tart fruit flavour is shorlived with a very shallow fruit acid tang lingering between sips. The Brett takes over making it hairy and rough with little complexity. Light touch of dry, leafy herbs is all that gives essence. Complex aroma doesn’t deliver on the palate. Bottle from Sam’s in Durham. Pours orangish-red, hazy without much of any head. Nose of sharp berries, vinegar, and some earthy dirt. Taste is quite acetic with the berries coming through strong and slightly harsh... maybe a hint of juniper? Not bad. drpimento (3635) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 27, 2012
I think this one somehow lost a little of its pizzazz. Poured a bit cold with a small, fizzy, tan head that quickly vanished. Color is a hazy honey amber with a bubble trail. Aroma is the best part of this beer and is a floral, perfume, wine vinegar. Flavor is similar to nose, but missing the finer qualities and muted. Body is good but carbonation a bit flat. Finish is like flavor, of average lenght, and a bit boozy. Kind of a disappointment; I was really curious to try a Crowberry sour brew. Oh well. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - JUL 27, 2012
Thanks to Gillard for the share. Great to get the ginger fix again. Pours a muddy orange-brown with a white head. Nose is big berries, sweet malt, and some vinegar. Flavor is similar with big berries, slight caramel, and tart notes with some vinegar. Light to medium in body and lingering berry and vinegar in the finish. doublebock (558) - California, USA - JUL 25, 2012
Light brown orange color with very little foam. Fruity and tart champagn aroma. Sharp sour palate with tart cherries, cork and lemon with some yeastiness at the finish
