Pale ruby, some carbonation that does not last long.
Souyr fruit aroma.
Nice flavour of forest berries - will probably fade a bit over time. A brilliant apretif or as a palate cleaner. Or in a sauce/marinade, perhas?
More and more mouthwatering crowberry flavour as I sip. gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - APR 17, 2013
On tap @ Borefts 2012 - taken from notes.Seriously impressed with this beer, as I was with the Sur Megge. Nose is lots of cherries, taste is cloves and lots of forest fruits (dark & red). Niiiiiice!! sarauckelman (540) - Durham, Durham, ENGLAND - OCT 9, 2012
On tap at Borefts Bierfestival, Bodegraven, 2012. Sour but not too sour; color an interesting orangish (not amber). 77ships (9827) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - OCT 1, 2012
50 cl. bottle - sampled @ Borefts 2012 - unlike almost every else - I just love cowberry sours & I need more of them - dark red orange with only on the sides a white head - smell is sour cowberry goodness, still light sweet touch, lemons - funky stuff - reasonably sour cowberry taste with a light vinegar and lemon juice sourness, some sweeter musty wild berries underneath, old musty sweet touches, sour old moldy malt - medium bodied - dries the mouth out a bit - nice SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - NOV 20, 2012
Pours blood orange flesh with a small ring of fizz. Smells fruity (I guess crowberries) and a touch sour. Taste is fruity and sour. Medium-bodied with a prickly texture and fizzy mouth-carbonation, Haandbryggeriet Krøkkebic finishes with a strange fruity sour kick. This is, objectively, a good beer, I guess I just don’t like crowberries.

Light brown orange color with very little foam. Fruity and tart champagn aroma. Sharp sour palate with tart cherries, cork and lemon with some yeastiness at the finish kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 13, 2012
The head is medium, the body brown. It smells bitter and sour. The taste is fruity, sour, different fruits, a bit woody. Fantastic fruity! 12/13/13/12/-/13

Bottle shared by portableparty! Dark clear mahogany pour, some intermittent carbonation and a tart cherry aroma remniscent of Consecration. Flavor is some lightly dark funky cherries (or maybe that’s what crowberries taste like, what the hell is a crowberry anyways?), more jammy berry and finished silky with some lingering sweetness. Really like this, pick up a bottle if you get a chance. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 3, 2012
Bottle at Borefts BeerFest 2012. Clear deep red/amber - white head. Nice sourish, fruity, nutty, lovely sourish, red berries, light malty, earthy. I like it a lot !!! snzcujo (282) - RUSSIA - OCT 11, 2012
Tasted from the bottle @Borefts fest 2012.
