UPDATED: FEB 27, 2012 Bottle at brewery. Deep red colour with a very small white head. Fruity nose. Not as sour as usual for type of beer, deep nice full bodied mouthfeel, well blended sour and sweet. visionthing (5528) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 28, 2011
UPDATED: AUG 1, 2012 Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Vika. Pours light (brownish) red with a white head. Fruity aroma with crowberries and wild yeast. Less sour than expected. Easy to drink sour ale with a mild sour and fruity finish. (A small re-taste at Glød, Oslo - more sour and refreshing - Very nice!) vyvvy (6714) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JAN 2, 2012
Pours reddish copper with a small soapy off-white ring for a head. The aroma has berries, light tartness, musty basement, lavender, mild funk and a hint of pepper. Medium crisp body that gets a bit fuller with mild prickly carbonation. The flavor starts with tart berries that are cranberry-esque, pepper, light vinegar, cherries and some bugginess. the finish is more vinegary with the sourness and there is a very sharp berry and spice flavort. Decent sour ale. badgerben (5316) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - MAR 5, 2012
Murky red color with no head. Tart berry skin aroma. Mild grainy flavor. Very tart berry flavor. Never had crowberries, so I can’t say for certain that it tastes like them, but it seemed to be somewhere around a blueberry/blackberry realm.

Bottle at Haandbryggeriet. Red golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is crowberries, sourness, malt. Flavour is crowberries, sourness, malt, vinegar, caramel. Nice beer. JCB (3999) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - APR 27, 2012
Bottle from Hop City, Atlanta. Clear reddish pour with a brief fizz and decent lacing. Fairly understated nose, deep berry and dank musty wood back by a relatively contained acetic quality. Just enough carbonation in the mouthfeel to evoke the modest pepper and spice that blend well with the tartness and fruitiness. Nothing world-beating, and not as complex as desirable, but a decent sour. yngwie (17233) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 31, 2012
Bottle, at the brewery. More or less clear, just a little haze. Amber in color and topped by a thin layer of off-white bubbles. Quite fruity aroma, very smooth, with the crowberries quite evident. Smooth, tart and dry on the palate, with berries and some lemony sourness hints. Fruity, berryish finish. A refreshing beer that maybe was a bit young. 111015 OmegaX (1383) - Florida, USA - JUN 24, 2012
I was glad to get to try this. Thanks Chipalsa. Bottle pour. Body is plain brown with a miniscule head of big clear bubbles. Aroma is of tart berries, some acidic notes, and a touch of funkiness. Taste was pleasing. I got tons of berry/strawberry notes, a touch of tartness, and some tannic qualities. The aftertaste was surprisingly fruity (berries and bananas). Overall I enjoyed this one because the tartness is reserved compared to some of the other sours I’ve had. durhambeer (2585) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - AUG 10, 2012
Bottle from Sam’s in Durham. Pours orangish-red, hazy without much of any head. Nose of sharp berries, vinegar, and some earthy dirt. Taste is quite acetic with the berries coming through strong and slightly harsh... maybe a hint of juniper? Not bad.
