Dobre piwo, aromat bardziej jak imperialny porter. W tle ciemne owoce, rodzynki, wiśnie. Generalnie słodkie, ulepkowate, ale nie nudne i zamulające. Karmel, czekolada, beczka, lekko kwaskowate, powiedziałbym likierowe, lekko alkoholowe. Interesujące i nietuzinkowe piwo.

kokkenrolv (348) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 5, 2017
Bottle, vintage 2013. Aroma is leather, tobacco, port wine, prunes, raisins, wood, dark fruits. Dark brown, hazy, small light brown head. Medium+ sweetness, light bitterness, taste is hints of wood, akevitt, prunes, dark fruits, marzipan, light chocolate. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, silky mouthfeel, long finish with akevitt, boozy notes, dark sweetness and a hint of bitterness. Wow!

Muddy brown color with tan head. Aroma is really spice forward buy up you also get coffee and roasted malt. Taste is quite balanced. You really get the base beer and the spice play only the second fiddle. It’s malty sweet, a bit roasty, leans more towards a porter. Bright spices like star anise, fennel but also peppercorns and caraway seeds. Medium body and carbonation with a warming alcohol feel. Really interesting beer overall. It has complex flavors, maybe also due to the Akevitt barrel aging. The only complaint is the slight alcohol feel.

500 ml bottle shared by Werckmeister, thanks!
Dark brown body, with a medium, creamy, lacing, beige head.
Aroma of chocolate, caramel, cocoa, some smoke, dark fruits, some soy sauce.
Taste follows this pretty much.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes roasty, dry, a bit sweet, a bit wooden, with some alcohol warmth.

Very nice. Straight and very well balanced, with a pleasant dryness. Really enjoyable style example, although not among my favourite ones.

0,5l bottle shared by ME at Linz RB Tasting. Vintage 2013. Bottled 06.04.2013. BB 06.04.2016. almost black color, small tan head. smells of sherry, spices, herbs, nettle, light glueish, light sweetness, dried fruits, earthy. like the smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of spices, earthy, dried fruits, sherry, berries, some roast, creamy, a bit glueish. finishes with dried fruits, light alcohol and spices. nice beer, not totally convinced by the finish (a bit astringent dry / bitter), but overall nice stuff.
