COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is our new X-mas beer for the coming season. Milder and less powerful roasty taste than Nissefar. More maltiness from the crystal malts and more fruity taste from lots of aroma hops, incl a hard to describe taste from our secret ingredient.

Pours a hazy and brown beer with a large offwhite head. The aroma is malt and spices with star anis. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is sweetness with spices. Overall a beer below average.

50cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, Vika. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Malty and surprisingly hoppy aroma with some (Christmas) spices (cinnamon and cardamom?), roasted malt, chocolate and hints of coffee and dark berries. Sweet and malty, nice and lightly roasty, with a quite dry finish with a nice bitterness. Delicious and refreshing! (2012-11-24)

Pours a dark brown colour with abtan head that lasts a long time. Aroma of roasted malts, pine and some spruce. Flavour consists of smoke, licorice, roasted malts and maybe some toffee in the end. Aftertaste is strong burnt malts. A really good beer, but I would wish for something that could match the big roasty aftertaste.

Pretty nice christmas beer with bitterness and smoke and dried fruites. Better the warmer. Let this be for a while and drink it at about 12 degrees.

Bottle - batch 516. Dark dark red in color, with a medium brown head. The first thing that strikes me when I stick it up to the nose, is an intense smell of dishwashing-soap. Getting some weak hints of other aromas aswell, but this smell of soap masks everything else. The same weird smell appears in the taste. The fact that noone else mentioned this in their rating of the beer, makes me wonder if this is infected...

Pours dark brown. Spicy nose. Lively carbonation actually. Malt, some caramel, spice (cinnamon?) aromas. Good.
