COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Odins Tipple was meant to be a strong beer, but we changed our minds...its still strong but we wont follow the mega strong trend. It should be possible to make great beer without the extreme alcohol potency. Odins Tipple is now approx 11% abv, it’s a dark almost black beer from lots and lots of chocolate malt. Its the malt that contributes the flavor...no added coffee or anything else, Its got a great body without being old engine oil and still very drinkable due to the wild yeast we use. This beer is made with a single strain of wild yeast and the recipe is dead simple.

Uzupełnienie profilu notatki.
Piana niewielka ale drobna trwała. Kolor czarny.

Pour black as night and thick as motor oil. Nearly non-existent head that is very dense. Aroma is deep chocolate and molasses. Taste is chocolate to start with hoppiness building to counteract the sweetness. A very solid imperial stout.

Dark brown, has a nice dark malt character...good...not sure what's distinctive about it to get it at 99 percentile...just a nice imperial stout.

500mL bottle from Carwyn Cellars. Batch 1015 BB 21.09.2020
Pours a proper opaque black body - head is dark tan head, slightly orange hued, creamy.
Intense nose - dark roast coffee, cocoa, orangey hops, rich earthy toffee, nutty malt.
Big syrupy, slick, oily body, great weight, warming, lovely texture, low carbonation.
Inky, lots of dark sugars, burnt chocolate, bitter coffee, licorice, nuts, get a good orangey sort of hop character, touch of vanilla. Finishes with warming booze, plenty of bitterness.
Formidable, brilliant!

Pitch black with a thin tan head. Notes of roasted malts, dark chocolate, smoke, ash, burnt coffee beans, prunes, bitter cherries. Intense roast and chocolate flavours. Full body, low carbonation, smooth mouthfeel.
