Sour milk on the aroma of this brown beer. Harsh astringent taste with a milky finish. Thanks to akevitt. JK (6162) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - APR 27, 2008
Sour milk in the aroma. Flavor has some malt, dry, and monastary cheese that has been left out. Thick an full on the palate. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 10, 2008
(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Maria. Clear, orangey brown with a beige head. Weird and very unpleasant sewage aroma. Rather thin-bodied with burned, malty accents. Some bitterness. Flawed and unpleasant. 290308 KimJohansen (10492) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - APR 6, 2008
Clear brown with beige head. Sweet fruity aroma with spices, gutter and roasted malt. Flavor goes the same way. Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - APR 5, 2008
The Fonefan/Brugmansia Cnudde tasting. Thank you Yngwie for this one! Nice, dark copper with a nice head. The aroma has notes of malt and spices, a bit peculiar and difficult to describe. The flavour has sweetness, notes of roasted malt, caramel, light citrus - and IMO, it’s not very harmonic.

Hazy red brown beer with a lasting tan head. Bready malt, with a touch of roast, coming together in a rather odd way. Malty sweet flavour with tart and astringent notes. yespr (45508) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAR 30, 2008

Bottle. Clear dark brown colour. Sweet caramel malty aroma. Rather thin mouthfeel. Well toasted bit spiced malty and chocolate flavour. Bitterish toasty finish with slight chocolate. thewolf (12602) - Kolding, DENMARK - MAR 2, 2008
Bottle @ thewolf tasting.
[thank you Yngwie/Gunnfryd]
Pours a nice reddish brown - a fine creamy beige head on top. Rather quickly becomes a thin film. Aroma is sweet, light roasted caramel, some fruity plums and raisins. Light mouthfeel. Flavour is quite dry, some chocolate and a bit of dried fruits. Light spiciness as well. Really a nice Brown Ale.
