Bottled. Brown colour, small beige foamy head. Aroma is wood, smoke, some mild toasted malts as well as some caramel. Flavour is caramel, smoke, some mild toffee as well as mild toasted notes. Quite balanced, but it feels like it’s lacking something to be really top notch. omhper (25160) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUN 4, 2011
Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Hazy mahogany colour, small head. Marked smokey nose. Mid sweet with medium-full body. Meaty with a certain fruityness, salami smoke and salty bitterness. Really good. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 28, 2011
Bottle 50 cl. Pours dark brown with a warm orange hue and a tiny off-white head. Sweet dark fruit in the nose and a subtle touch of smoke. Medium body, again sweet dark fruist, some subtle roast and a spicy - almost cola-like - edge. Some smoke, but again subtle. Dry, malt bitter finish. Definitely a different smoke beer. 280511 Travlr (24913) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - OCT 2, 2010
