Unclear medium orange color with a huge, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, light peach, brett notes, a bit funky ! Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, soapy, peel bitter - bretty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle @ Denmark/Norway Tasting @ Ulfborg 2011. Courtesy of Fonefan. Pours cloudy golden with a fluffy white head. Nose is yeast, orange peel and hops. Hoppy flavor. Peach and grapefruit. Dusty and yeasty. KnutAlbert (6798) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 17, 2011
Bottle. Lots of carbonation, candyfloss head. Lovely aroma, grass and juicy apricots - mouthwatering.
The flavour is also a fine combo of fruit and bitterness. Citrus, haym auchaluptus. Tingeling bitter finish. Rune (13723) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAR 13, 2011
Many thanks to OleR for this one. 500ml slowly gushing bottle that pours a tightly packed crop of white foam gradually leaving spotty lacework behind. Cloudy, golden body colour. Dusty hops together with a touch of oranges to the nose. Rounded taste profile containing citrus shells, fresh hops, notes of earthy malts and with a spicy bite beneath it all. Soft, modest, but lingering, bitter tail. Medium bodied. Nice, without being outstanding (Tromsø, 11.03.2011). Geokkjer (7663) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 11, 2011

Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Valkendorfsgate, Bergen. Slow gusher. Pours a deep murky orange body with a massive, overflowing white head, Haandbryggeriet-style. While this looks kinda cool, it’s also kind annoying to sit around for 15 minutes waiting for the dust to settle so you can actually DRINK your beer... :-P Nose is grassy hops with some fruity tones; quite faint though. Taste is more earthy, with grassy hop notes dancing around a medium malt backbone. Not too impressive, this reminds me much more of a classic English IPA (read: kinda boring) than "an exciting new and fruity hop". Nice and drinkable though, but nothing special in my book. esp0r (2934) - NORWAY - FEB 12, 2011
Bottle. Copper hazy with a massive white head. It takes looong time to pour this beer. Maybe too much carbonation? Aroma of hay and grass, some citrus. Taste is really dry and grassy with some malts and have absolutely no sweetness. Finish is bitter and dry. With some sweetness in the body this IPA would have been really awsome. larsga (7675) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 6, 2011
Gusher. Huge offwhite head. Hazy deep yellow body with light carbonation. Fruity floral gooseberry aroma with spicy honey and chalk notes. Dry-sweetish chalky spicy dusty taste with fruity herbal gooseberry notes. Fizzy, chalky mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dry chalky dusty earthy fruity aftertaste with herbal honey notes. Quite nice. Probably better when not gushing. (0.5l bottle, wine monopoly Vika, Oslo. Bottled 2010-10-27.) Gr0ve (2176) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 3, 2011
500 ml bottle. Gusher. Cloudy amber colour. Very tall coarse white head that clings to the glass. Yeasty nose with fruity aromatic hops. Fizzy carbonation. Medium bodied with notes of bread and caramel. Not at all bitter. This IPA is dominated by hops in the aroma and not bitterness. Overall a nicely drinkable ale, but I which it hadn’t had that much carbonation. daje (4548) - NORWAY - JAN 16, 2011
Bottle at Grunerløkka Brygghus.
Golden color with a foamy head that just wouldn’t stop, even when the bottle was half empty it filled up with the stuff. My friends bottle didn’t behave like that, so maybe I had a bad bottle. Very fruity and hoppy.
