bottled, rbesg07. dark brown with a reluctant head; woody aroma with some sour cherries; some lactic sourness and strange regurgitated sweetness; just plain weird and messy

Elegant packaging to this one, that is setting it up for fail. It comes in a mash tun shaped 500ml cobalt blue bottle with a tag and plastic over the cap. It pours a coca-cola colored brown with a fizzy but decent-lasting tan/off-white head. It leaves behind no lacing. The smell is off-putting and hard to wrap your mind around. It is confusing, I have never smelled these scents before in this style. It sort of smells like sulphuric farts mixed with wood varnish with a hint of tangy berry vomit surprise. I seriously have low hopes for this one after that rancid smell. Why Miguiel would you quit drysacking your hairy, sweaty dirt-grimed nuts in my beer! The taste is slightly better, a dry stout mixed with some tanginess. Perhaps they don’t set the highest quality control standard. It has a peaty cocoa powder undertone but a tangy lactic foreground. It has to be infested, but even so the base of it is weak. Not worth 6 freakin dollars, screw you cool looking bottle! Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 07-13-2010 00:37:07

Warning! Early amateur rating! A crisp porter with good carbonation. Has a refreshing tangy sourness but is not bitter at all. Another good Mexican beer!

Pours black with a thin tan head. Nose is light smoke, malt and light bread. Taste is mostly air, some smoke and sweet malts. Almost no body to speak of.

Bottle @ Brugmansia/Fonefan US Tasting, April 2010. Thanks a lot. Pours unclear dark brown with a small bubbly head. Nose and taste is dust and port. Very vinous nose. Slightly tart with a mild smokey note in the back, some coffee and again hints of cellar. Medium bodied, Ok

MiP (15960) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - APR 17, 2010
Bottle, 4.7%. Farty and sweet malt aroma. Cloudy very dark brown colour. Citric aroma, woody sourness. OK flavourful for the ABV, and not too bad.
