(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a firm blonde foam. Sweet malty and herbal, slightly floral hop aroma with shades of caramel. Bitter flavour, light to medium body, well-carbonated, crispy mouthfeel. The taste is initially malt-accented, slightly papery, getting more hoppier in the middle and finishes dry and bitter with herbal hops. Unspectacular, decent Pilsener. rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 29, 2006
Golden colour. Flowery, light fruity nose. Dry bitter-ish backbone. Light bodied. Papery, bitter finish. Drinkable, but oh so average German Style Pils. TheBeerLover (1027) - DC Metro Area, USA - JAN 28, 2006
This beer is a crisp, clean delicious pils, with good hop aromas and flavors, and bitterness, on a very drinkable body. After a day of sight seeing in Munich, this was the perfect beer to sit down and relax with, and one that would work very well with a number of Bavarian dishes.
Braumeister Pils pours to a beautiful, bright, pale golden color with a thick white head, and a good bit of carbonation. The nose on this beer is outstanding with lots of good herbal/grassy hop aroma. The palate is very crisp with a firm pilsner malt flavors, on a very round, smooth body. Braumeister Pils finishes with more crisp malt flavor up front, then ends with a snappy herbal hop bite that lingers on the tongue.
This is a very well done Pils, with just the right amount of hop character. It is a delicious beer, one perfect to rouse the appetite before a nice meal, and would be a great beer to match with hearty, traditional Bavarian fare, which there is no shortage of in Munich. If you ever take a trip to Munich, I highly recommend a trip to any outlet that serves up Hacker-Pschorr beers. Braumeister Pils is a great beer to start your HP experience with. Bottle. Golden color with a big white head. Malty light sweet with a hint of hops. Malty taste. Medium body and a light bitter finish. Ungstrup (37576) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - DEC 4, 2004
An orange beer with a white head. THe aroma is malty with strong notes of yeast - a little weird in a pilsener. The flavor is plainly malty. Nothing special.

Draft at Hacker Pschorr in Munich - Most Hacker beers I have had are outstanding. This is terribly avarage. Decent crisp flavor that is quite malty. A bit thin when compared to the czech Pils'. jonas (7573) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - APR 5, 2003

very decent crisppils.starts of malty and breadybut finishes with crisp bitter hops. Voivod (304) - Como, ITALY - FEB 3, 2003
This beer has a clean appereance, golden colour and a good head. The taste is really malty and lightly hoppy. Bitter (but not too much) aftertaste. One of the best German pilsener beers I've ever drunk.
