Finally got around to trying this one. Was dissapointed they didnt have a pinter. This is a pretty good and smoothe wheat beer. Nice hazy colour. Aroma has banana and lemon. Taste follows suit add the honey and a bit of wheat, bubble-gum, no blow joe commics though. Very refreshing overall.

This beer wet my feet as far as German beers go. I think the lemon over powered it a bit, I get the taste of lemon seeds. Without the training wheels, nice and cloudy, yeasty, wheaty, a little sweet. Did not notice any head with the lemon, but without, plenty of white foam, too much, actually.

This is a decent standard to go by for German wheat beer in America. It has the usual hazy gold color with the large white head. Aroma of bananas and yeast. Light aroma of cloves, bubble-gum. Body is decent when the yeast is swirled from the bottom of the bottle. A fine grocery store quality wheat.

Bottle, bought at Pittsburgh Bottle shop cafe. My bottle said only "Weisse" on the label, but the ratebeer bigwigs told me that my beer was probably this one, so.... It poured a cloudy golden with a light head that dissipated quickly. Nose was great wheat malty sweetness with straw and fresh grass in it. Nice. Nice bubble gum, banana, and cloves in the taste. nice wheat tartness. Mouthfeel was a nice refreshing small bubbled fullness. Good beer.

Pours a hazy yellow/copper color. Sweet yeast aroma, a little banana scent is present. Flavor is somewhat grainy. Has a bit of a bitter taste as well . A little spicy. Not great, but it is easy to drink.

01.15.05 500ml bottle. Cloudy gold but not too cloudy, big white head. Light banana, clove, yada, yada. Anything I say about this beer will sound like I’m copying the style guide, yet it’s just a notch below in every respect. Nice soft palate is its best asset.

Cloudy, yeasty, wheaty. Don’t know how else to describe it. Didn’t care for it when I first tried it in college, but I enjoy it often 10 years later.

Yummy. I used to drink this on tap at a local bar that’s since gone out of business, so it had been a while until I had it tonight. I don’t really know if it’s totally acceptable, but I used to have it with a slice of lemon, and it’s the only way I can have it. It’s perfect in the summer as a light, quenching wheat that has a slight sweetness and bitterness. It’s extremely cloudy with a big head that quickly disappates with the lemon. The lemon gives it an additional sweetness and citrus bitterness that compliments the beer well. A good classic standby that gets me to feeling sentimental about my early days of beer snobbery.
