Nice Hefe witha definite sourness to counter the estery wheat character of banana and breads. Refreshing.

Wow, this was much worse than I expected. It tasted incredibly flat, so I suspect something might have been wrong with the tap. Very thin head, very thin feel to it. Aroma is very citrus, almost overly so. The taste relies too much on orange/lemon flavor for me. Not my thing.

CEZ (415) - Milano, ITALY - JUN 28, 2005
Deep amber, almost orange in colour, very cloudy. Medium head. Strongly yeasty (dough, white bread), chewing gum, banana aroma. Taste is strongly malty, rather sweet, but with a dry yeasty finish. Medium to full mouthfeel.

Big white head on top of a murky yellow/brown body. Smells of bnread dough, tropical fruit, and clove. Has a spicy flavor up front, along with various fruits. Finishes crisp and clean. Very refreshing and enjoyable beer.

now this is what i call a very good weissen. aroma: vanilla, banana, cloves and more spices. taste: vanilla, banana, wheat, yeast. i don’t think i’m doing justice to this beer with my descriptions, it’s better than that. the best weizen i’ve had! also tastes good when warming up.

BigBastard (668) - L.A., California, USA - JUN 23, 2005
Extrememly mild hefe. Flavors were very light, almost to the point of being watery. It was light and refreshing though. Good for a hot summer day.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2006 Draft at A.J.’s sports bar. Good flavor, decent smell, apearance hazy golden color, decent head which disapates in to good lacing. smooth, very drinkable, had it served to me with a lemon floating atop, dont know if that affected the rating, but i loved this beer.

The 12 0z. bottle pours a hazy, orangish yellow body with a large and loose white head that left good lacing. The aroma is orange citrus with clove and a bit of yeast. Dryish initial palate quickly gives way to expected banana and citrus fruit esters. Short, mellow and beguiling aftertaste totally masks higer (5.5%) alcohol content. This beer is refreshing, well-carbonated and effervescent. An excellent choice.

Juelze (1146) - Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 9, 2005
Pours a cloudy yellowish color. Thin head diminishing head. Smells of banana, clove, and yeast. Taste mirrors the aroma but with a bit more esters and bubblegum flavor. Very refreshing.
