I don’t even know if this is the same beer that I tasted. Hacker-Pschoor Weisse was on the label but there isn’t one listed. No matter. This was "lawnmower beer." Amber with foamy white head. Mild wheaty aroma. Light to medium body and mediocre flavor. Good cold on a hot day and with food.

A very citrusy and easy to drink weiss. Just a light bit of spiciness compliments the yeastiness in the banana and clove. Good to drink on a hot summer evening like last night.

UPDATED: AUG 25, 2011 A solid weizen that can be found quite a few places. +++Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer pours a cloudy tan-orange color with a large tan head. The aroma is sweet, sour and wheaty. The flavor is wheaty, yeasty, peppery, a touch musty and has a definite lemony undertone. There is a faint amount of spice. Very good.

This is a pretty solid pint. The pour is an opaque yellow that has a frothy head. The flavor had some coriander and banana. Quaffable from start to finish.

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2007 Nice little wheat from this Munich brewery. Easy drinking beer that you can look cool drinking without choking. Nice and fruity with yeast and a clean hop finish. Nice.

Nice, but my 500ml bottle tasted like it was getting a bit stale. But still nice - looks like a fog of peach, nice fresh smell and a good taste to it, fruity with body, but I’ve tasted better. Not to say this isn’t worth a try - it’s a quality brew.

Tasted in Toronto from LCBO. Tasted in dimple mug. Tasted at 10.9C. Initially a large cumulous head, fluffy with good glass lacing and volume. Aroma is of slight banana, with a slightly bitter orange or lemon finish. Very subtle and light grassy scent. Flavour is more muted. Starts off delicately sweet, and moves to a slightly sour earthy finish. Hints of spice and banana. Final ’tang’ of sourness and its over.

Very hazy orange with a creamy white head, which lasts until the glass is finished. Aroma is heavy on the banana and cloves. Taste is very pleasant. Very smooth, creamy mouthfeel, and a nice balance of wheat, yeast, cloves, banana, coreander, orange peel and a really smooth finish. Can I say ’creamy’ again? It’s almost like drinking a milkshake. This one has it all as far as hefe’s go. Fantastic. I probably rated it a bit high, but this is right up my alley.

Poured from 12 oz. bottles. The smell of lemon pepper and a little corriander hit me right away. Starts with a fluffy, large head and changes to a thin long-lasting head. The appearance was orange and cloudy. Pears, bananas and a little pepper spice keep this interesting. This has a medium, greasy mouthfeel. Overall, a very good hefeweizen.

Cloudy amber, huge beige head. Light yeast malt nose. Light malt flavor with yeasty overtones. Not as cloyingly yeasty as most
