UPDATED: AUG 26, 2004 Cloudy, tropical fruit tones, and richly aromatic -- not surprising for a german beer.

Bottle. Looks like a hefe. Smells like a heffe. Tastes like heffe. They all taste the same.

beaconstreet (811) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 11, 2004
A fairly decent beer, smooth, soft head, mellow and honeyed. Not a butch beer. Rich amber color reminicent of autumn, but the flavor lacks autumn spices. Would probably not have this one with a lemon. Would prefer a different beer for multitudinous rounds.

Another wheat...cloudy...fruity aroma...thicker bodied than most wheats...bitter finish...

A good typical German Hefe, although I would choose others over this. Light citrus, yeast, wheaty. I was not impressed with the aroma.

Beautiful hazy amber. Big frothy head. Fruity, wheaty, yeasty aroma. Smooth feeling with a hint of acidity in my mouth. Notes of orange and clove. Tastes similar to other Hefeweizens. Good joerb Hacker-Pschorr.

Nice orange amber body with an off-white head. Little in the way of aroma. Has a nice citrus tast with lemony overtones. A nice summer beer.

eboats (1082) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUL 16, 2004
Cloudy orange with a medium white head. Smells of wheat and citrus. Not as good as other Hefes I have had.

Roli (405) - laval, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 13, 2004
This was not a bad one. White head and amber color. Taste of wheat, malt and some citrus/other fruits. Dry finish. Kind of ordinary but still enjoyable.
