Review sample, labeled as Hacker-Pschorr Weiss. Pours a big fluffy head in a tall glass, darker in color, a bit cloudy but more like an American wheat beer than a Hefe Weizen. Slight smell with just a little bit of fruity esters and a slightly spicy compliment from wheat malt. The taste does have a little bit of bubblegum and a slight touch of banana. Not as much spice as we know Weizen, again close to an American wheat style. The sweetness is subdued so there’s not as much need for hops to balance it. The fruit and bubble gum in the nose are not as apparent in the taste. It is a little ticket than a Hefe, or for that matter, than a typical lawn mower beer, so be seated while you enjoy. No lemon, please. Some yeast sediment at the bottom but it’s too solid to pour into your glass.

Import Bottle. I've enjoyed this as a draft a few times, so how does a bottle taste after a long journey? Quite the same. I'm enjoying this as a "commuter speacial" (out of the bottle in a brown paper sack on the train). Good spicy weiss smell, actually a tad understated. Cloudy body. Full banana and clove taste, with a hint of lemon. A nice little head works up in the bottle. And a fine, playful effervescence on the tongue. A fine, fine beer.
0.5l bottle. Hazy yellow color with high white head. Aroma: banana, yeast, banana bread. Taste: banana, yeast, light sourness. Light bodied, moderately to lively carbonated. dchad56 (513) - - JUL 21, 2017

0.5 l bottle. Pours deep, hazy orange with long lasting head. Decent hefeweizen, the usual banana and yeasty notes appearing properly. Nice one. Emeister84 (2505) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - JUL 15, 2017
Aromas of cereal, banana, light clove. Hazy orange with a fully lasting, flufy white head. Slightly sweet, flavors mostly reflect the aromas. Medium-full bodied. azzurro (255) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 14, 2017
Got this one in April. Had a special German-theme meal today, couldn’t pick a better beer.

0,5l bottle. Hazy golden colour with long lasting creamy white head. Aroma: Banana, biscuit. Taste: Sweet malty start with a very slight tarty tone and almost no bitterness at all. Has a very creamy texture. Light/medium body with soft carbonation. Medium lasting soft and slightly sweet/sour finish. This a great, classic hefe-weisse. josanguapo (1684) - SPAIN - JUL 6, 2017
From Decervecitas. In Bavaria hefe glass. Playing Grim Legends 3. All typical profile of a hefe well executed but lacking something to stand out. But it was 1 month before bbf date, so it’d be good to repeat it fresher alex_leit (4120) - Minsk, BELARUS - JUN 25, 2017
Bottle. Cloudy, honey-yellow color, good white foam. Aroma: light barley malt, ripe wheat and a fat banana. Taste: soft, malt, banana and wheat, a little cloves, light sweetness and fruity, slightly vanilla. Good. saledio89 (15) - BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA - JUN 17, 2017
From 0.5l. Pours hazy orange with nice white head. Good head retention. Aroma of bread and bit banana. Nice weisse beer. jrodooo5 (1672) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - JUN 6, 2017
Beautiful pour & pretty tasty! Attractive cloudy orange w/ a white head & good lacing. The aroma has some nice Belgian spice. The taste is clean yet memorable which is rare for the style. Has more of a Belgian ale feel than a Weiss. Spicy & overall delightful for what’s typically a boring style!
