While certainly a good Hefeweizen, this is somewhat straightforward in its flavors. A bit citrusy, a little sweet, a little spicy, but not particularly strong in any of these areas. Definitely drinks well, and I’d certainly revisit it, but it’s not as flavorful as the best examples in the style.

0.5 l bottle. Pours deep, hazy orange with long lasting head. Decent hefeweizen, the usual banana and yeasty notes appearing properly. Nice one.

Aromas of cereal, banana, light clove. Hazy orange with a fully lasting, flufy white head. Slightly sweet, flavors mostly reflect the aromas. Medium-full bodied.

Got this one in April. Had a special German-theme meal today, couldn’t pick a better beer.

0,5l bottle. Hazy golden colour with long lasting creamy white head. Aroma: Banana, biscuit. Taste: Sweet malty start with a very slight tarty tone and almost no bitterness at all. Has a very creamy texture. Light/medium body with soft carbonation. Medium lasting soft and slightly sweet/sour finish. This a great, classic hefe-weisse.

From Decervecitas. In Bavaria hefe glass. Playing Grim Legends 3. All typical profile of a hefe well executed but lacking something to stand out. But it was 1 month before bbf date, so it’d be good to repeat it fresher

Bottle. Cloudy, honey-yellow color, good white foam. Aroma: light barley malt, ripe wheat and a fat banana. Taste: soft, malt, banana and wheat, a little cloves, light sweetness and fruity, slightly vanilla. Good.

From 0.5l. Pours hazy orange with nice white head. Good head retention. Aroma of bread and bit banana. Nice weisse beer.

Beautiful pour & pretty tasty! Attractive cloudy orange w/ a white head & good lacing. The aroma has some nice Belgian spice. The taste is clean yet memorable which is rare for the style. Has more of a Belgian ale feel than a Weiss. Spicy & overall delightful for what’s typically a boring style!

jamiemac87 (170) - Durham, ENGLAND - MAY 30, 2017
Pours with a massive white head. Herbal nose with some grain. Coriander and hints of golden syrup cake finish smoothly. Good.

wazig gouden/oranje met volle fijne witte kraag. aroma van citrus, koriander, lichte jonge banaan, mout, tarwe, kruidnagel. smaken zijn redelijk zacht, matig zoet, citrus, sinaasappel, mout, tarwe, graan, banaan, iets dun qua textuur, gist, geen top weizen maar ok.
