On tap. Poured golden to light amber. Smelled malty, but only faintly so. Some bready, malty flavors with a touch of grain and caramel. Not what I expect in a bock at all. Disappointing.
Very pleasant drinking. Sweet complex and long lasting flavor, but overall on the lighter side. I could drink a lot of these, yum. gripweed57 (2584) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - MAY 1, 2017
From old tasting notes. Labeled as "Hacker-Pschorr Maibock". Bright deep gold color with a moderate white head. Light malt aroma . Semisweet toasted malt foretaste. Bittersweet middle. Finish is dry and bitter. Long bitter aftertaste. Zesty, bold and flavorful. A very good Maibock. slowrunner77 (12144) - Reno, Nevada, USA - APR 20, 2017

Bernstein, klarm weisser Schaum.Aroma: Malzig, leicht metallisch. Antrunk: Malzig, leicht alkoholisch.
Received via trade with Papso. From 500 ml bottle pours a semi-clear golden amber colored brew with a thick off-white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some excellent lacing. Aroma of hard pitted fruits, rich golden grain malt and a hint of melon Taste is medium to full bodied, with flavors of golden grain malt and some sweet hard fruits with a touch of vanilla. Finish is semi-sweet with golden grain malt, vanilla, and mild floral and earthy hops. A solid heller bock throughout.

Pours gold with a nice white head. Smells of floral notes, bit of grass, bread. Taste is sweet and moderately bitter - bready and pit fruit. hotstuff (5173) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUN 15, 2016
Rated on 6-11-2016 at The Berg Ale Haus, Huntington, IN. The appearance of this draft beer is a small cream head that mostly diminished, transparent golden body, no visible carbonation observed, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is malt, alcohol, spicy, sweet, light grass, bready, and toasty. The flavor is lightly bitter, sweet, malt, spicy, light fruit, light yeast, bready, toasty, and light floral hops. The mouthfeel is moderate carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. A quaffable beer that is just so-so all around. Nothing all that bad, but nothing all that great. thedm (6221) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUN 11, 2016
This draft brew from a beer bar poured a head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a uncarbonated transparent orange colored body and a poor lacing. The mild aroma was malty and sweet. The semi-flat mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering malty aftertaste. The mild flavor contained notes of sweet and malt. Not one that I would likely drink again. Eructoblaster (4265) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - APR 22, 2016
On tap at Brothers Beer Bistro (Ottawa, ON). Slightly hazy, golden body with a thin, lasting, white creamy head. Good malty/hoppy aroma with brown sugar, fruity, and some subtle woody hints. Its well balanced taste carries oaky, barley, and brown sugar notes. Ends with a decent bittersweet, moderately warming finish. Average Bock.
