The pleasure of yesteryear
Velvety matte shine – Smooth, full-bodied flavor
Munich Kellerbier Anno 1417 shines with a seductive golden honey color. A beer with a distinctive character: earthy, bold, quaffable and yet refreshingly mild and light. Just like a real Bavarian.

Creamy and effervescent, typical of unfiltered beers, a delightful ticklish mouthfeel. Aromas of caramel, honey and plum dominate and emphasize the beer’s malty, spicy flavor. Unmistakable hints of apple and grapefruit bring in a fruity freshness.

Our Munich Kellerbier, a beer like from the good old days when beer was born. After aging four weeks, it is bottled unfiltered, which still preserves all its yeast vitamins and trace elements.

Since 1417, Hacker Pschorr stands for traditional Bavarian brewing. The quality beers of Hacker-Pschorr are all brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law and contain only hops, malt and water. 12.5°

Bottle from a Restaurant in krün. Pours hazy orange. Nose is sweet, honey, very intense. Palate is much more tart, less sweet, heard it is more easy going on tap. Aroma is very pleasing, the Rest is ok.

This is how a lager should be. Well balanced, pleasant malty taste, mostly caramel aroma and a longlasting head. I could drink it anytime.

Clear dark yellow, off-white foam head. Typical araom and taste, although nice creamy texture indeed. Some fruit tones, still not a realy great beer. (Velp 201611)

Bottle at home picked up from M&S Watford. As Kellerbier, naturtrubes. A a hazed golden orange coloured pour with a a lasting off white frothy head. Aroma is semi sweet cereal grains, tangy apple, brown bread, rustic grains. Flavour is composed of raw cereal grains, rustic bread, tangy apple, hints of banana bread, chalk. Palate is semi sweet grains, highish carbonation, slighlty tangy finish. Not bad.

50cl bottle. Hazy orange with a white head. Notes of bitter, grassy hops, some fruits (like pears), hay, yeast, bananas. Medium body and carbonation with a bitter-sweet and quite refreshing finish.

Bottle. Golden, cloudy, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish aroma, light caramel and faint bread with faint hoppyness. Body is medium, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish - sweetish flavor, light caramel/bread and faint herbal hoppyness. Finish is average, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish, light caramel - faint bread with faint - light herbal hoppyness. Caramel sweetish kellerbier - way too sweet for me.

Dull and boring beer. It fits the style but the taste and aroma are both unpleasant.
