Bottle. Clear yellow with a medium sized good lacing white head. Sulphur, citrus, herbal, paper, grain. Light/medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, medium sweet and light/medium bitter. I like the nose, but the flavour is a bit dull and sweet.

Draft. Pours golden with white head. Not my favorite Helles, but eminently drinkable w/malt and grassiness.

[bottle] Surprisingly strong noble hops aroma for style, but in the flavour the hops are not very dominant. Still a nice crisp maltiness in both. Slightly citrusy components in both as well. Gentle bitterness goes perfectly with the delicate malty sweetness and flavour. Bright dark gold with white foam that drops to a ring and leaves little dots on the sides of the glass. Medium to light body, medium carbonation, lasting hops flavour.

Embrouille (2843) - SWITZERLAND - AUG 15, 2008
Bottled 50cl. It pours a beautiful light golden beer with a white head. The aroma is amazing - huge amounts of lemongrass and gooseberries showing up. Unique and deeply pleasant. The taste is sweet malty with gooseberries , lemongrass, lime, wild strawberries and lemon sneaking in. Wonderfully fruity, citrusy. Amazing. Very lightly peppery. Medium bodied. Low bitterness. A bit sour. Nicely balanced. Nice lacework. Remarkably dry finish with a hint of gooseberries and hops. An amazing beer in my opinion.

heavy (2808) - Split, CROATIA - MAY 24, 2016
May ’15. On tap on Rockavaria festival and bottled (0.5l fliptop) for comparison since I had doubts. It poured clear golden body with medium sized head. Herbal and lemon hop aroma, touch of bread. Neutral, lightly bitter flavor, hay, bread, touch of herbal hops. Thin bodied with shorter finish. Clean, pleasant, although a bit too watery overall.

Short beige head. Clear yellow color. To start it has a short sulphur aroma then malty aroma. Nice malty taste with a small bitterness and small sweetness.
