The pleasure of yesteryear
Velvety matte shine – Smooth, full-bodied flavor
Munich Kellerbier Anno 1417 shines with a seductive golden honey color. A beer with a distinctive character: earthy, bold, quaffable and yet refreshingly mild and light. Just like a real Bavarian.

Creamy and effervescent, typical of unfiltered beers, a delightful ticklish mouthfeel. Aromas of caramel, honey and plum dominate and emphasize the beer’s malty, spicy flavor. Unmistakable hints of apple and grapefruit bring in a fruity freshness.

Our Munich Kellerbier, a beer like from the good old days when beer was born. After aging four weeks, it is bottled unfiltered, which still preserves all its yeast vitamins and trace elements.

Since 1417, Hacker Pschorr stands for traditional Bavarian brewing. The quality beers of Hacker-Pschorr are all brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law and contain only hops, malt and water. 12.5°

Deep gold hazy pour, good stable head, lacing. Aroma is faint sulphur, bready, faint noble hops, a bit musty, hay. Taste dense maltiness in the medium body, crisp bitterness some grassy and noble hop flavour. Medium carbonation, dry clean bitterness in the aftertaste, not lingering long. Nice generous lager, almost a benchmark

Fantastic nice foaming beer with nice aroma of a little malt, but most of a lingering hoppy aroma. Taste light caramel in an all-grain way, which clearly shows the use of good malt quality. Fresh grain and caramel malt gives it a nice and saturated filling, which unfortunately is rarely found in beers from the larger breweries. The bitterness seems to be a little retracted, but it maintains a long aftertaste and puts a nice edge on the end. It's really elegant and well-brewed and I can definitely recommend it.

A good lager style beer. Definie hints of honey sweetness. More complex than a pilsner or similar.

500ml swing top bottle from The Grumpy Goat, Reading. Hazy amber colour with white head. Sweet bready malt, grains, light citrus hops.

Bottle from Marks & Spencer, drunk at home. Brownish gold, slightly hazy, with a small ring of white head. Honey wheat rolls, caramel sauce, a touch of rosettes in the aroma. Sweet, bready taste with a sharp note of slightly fruity hops near the long finish. Orange peel and sourdough in the aftertaste. Nice full body. Really nice beer.

TEJA (3201) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 3, 2017
Sampled at SBWF. Really thick white head. Fine opaque golden color. Small malty aroma. Nice malty taste with a low bitterness.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange colour with a fluffy white head, light hop aroma with some fruit, the taste is medium bitterness and with a dry bitter finish.

JorgeLee (2194) - Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 1, 2017
Bottle, Drinks of the World Geneva. Slightly cloudy pale amber brown colour, gentle white foam. Malty, sweet bread, slightly yeasty tang, touch of spicy hop, low to medium bitterness. May not have been the freshest sample but this is pretty solid German beer.

That's one good Kellerbier. Blends its malty sweetish and hoppy bitter elements very well.

500 ml bottle. Bright orange colour, decent foamy head. Bread, grain, hay, a bit grapefruit in the background. Medium bitterness. Soft carbonated, medium bodied. Creamy texture. Süffig. This is a very solid Bavarian Kellerbier!

llucmaduell (282) - barcelona, SPAIN - SEP 6, 2017
On a trip to Italian Tyrolean German beers saved me. The Italian beers I found were of poor quality. This beer is a classic German. Pretty good
