On tap at Concordia Club, Kitchener, ON. Overall as good and drinkable as any other quality Munich lager. Nothing special. Michael27 (2290) - Berlin, GERMANY - NOV 16, 2016
Frisch vom Hahn im Paulaner in Hamburg getrunken. Eigentlich nichts besonderes. Scheint identisch mit dem Oktoberfestbier zu sein (?). Scopey (15500) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2016
Keg at casc. It pours clear gold with a medium white head. The aroma is buttered white bread roll, straw, cereal, cracker, spice and hay. The taste is bitter - sweet, sugary, muffin, white bread, grassy, cracker and cornbread with shor, dryish finish. Medium body and moderate - High, foamy carbonation. A touch sweet if anything. OK lagerbier. Decent for style. Theydon_Bois (20487) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2016

Bottle   Yellow side of straw, pale haze, moderate frothy white head, fairly nice lacing.   Big straw and hay on the nose, on the sweeter side.   Very pale skin like fruitiness too.   I like this in that it lacks that cereal aspect.   Very clean, straw and hay right up front, moderate sweetness, with a touch of pale fruit skin on the backside.   Clean... Not as malty or biscuity as I would have thought.   Very pale biscuit notes, paler than most.   Body and mouthfeel are average, albeit its very smooth.   Finishes with a lot of pale fruit skin and light straw/hay maltiness.   Way to easy to drink, and way different from other Oktoberfests that I have had.
