On tap at the 9-27 Munich Oktoberfest. Found a few open seats at the Hacker-Pschorr tent after searching tents for an hour and stayed there the whole time. Drank way too many liters of this.......... Anyway, poured a clear golden color with a huge foamy white head on each. Aroma of straw and grass, wheat, and some hidden fruits in the background. Taste was straw, wheat, some pear, and a hint of barnyard. Body felt light, but boy did I get filled up from drinking these all day. Fun experience and decent beer. patricks110 (2556) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 28, 2014
QUite bland and boring with an overall toasted malt, light citrus hop and grassy German backbone. Pours a golden yellow with a frothy, soapy off white head that leaves tons of lacing around the glass. The nose is grainy and cereal based with light noble hops and mild citrus. Easy to sip and a nice well balanced medium bodied lager. Nothing exciting, but good overall. cazort (567) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 26, 2014
(Bottle) from State Line Liquors, MD. This didn’t seem like a typical Oktoberfest beer; it was hoppier and lighter in color...almost seeming intermediate between a Pilsner and Oktoberfest, but stronger. Aroma is moderately hoppy, with a moderate malt presence. Some interesting fruity notes come out, but overall quality is boozy, with the alcohol strongly evident in the aroma. There is also a muted bitter finish that I dislike, and a heaviness. Good, enjoyable, but by far the least exciting beer I’ve tried from Hacker-Pschorr...their other beers have been consistently a notch up from this one...but on the other hand, I had them on tap in Germany and this one I got in the US from a bottle. 500ml stein on draft from St. Veronus. Transparent straw body with a creamy head leaving a lot of nice lacing. Cereal and bready notes. Extremely sessionable and light boded. Minimal hop presence and a approachable carbonation level.

500 ml bottle. Pours a clear dark gold with moderate head. Aromas of grain, sweetened lemons, sweet malts, and paper. Flavors of paper, corn, grass, and bitter hops. Off or normal? Best before 3/15... rumproasts (5592) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - OCT 20, 2014

500ml Swing top bottle. Pale straw color. Malty grain like nose. Lite malt sweetness, with medium bitterness. Clean and easy to drink, with a good palate. Tastes good cold. VertBaconStrips (2397) - Blerkablerka, VENEZUELA - OCT 14, 2014
How very euro lager of you. Heavily malted, grassy and sharp,
lemon, acidic, gassy. This doesn’t lack in flavour. It’s quite enjoyable. I’ll tell you what’s not enjoyable - watching the edmonton oilers. They really suck assholes. AgentAle (1808) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 14, 2014
Aroma is carbonation, yeast and pale malts. Light biscuit notes aswell. Taste is very light malts with a fairly light bitterness that leaves slight tartiness. Appearance is a clear pale straw hue with a thick fluffy pearl head that retains fairly well.
