Great example of the style! Great color, nice head, fine balance! I always anticipate the Fall season with several of these at hand! A solid choice!
UPDATED: DEC 20, 2017 Quite a lot darker than the average Märzen. Bottle from Southwick Brewhouse. Drinks well. alistairjames () - Leeds, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 2, 2017
For the most part I agree with other reviewers; this is a sweet and malty beer as per the style but I'm alarmed at the absence of the following descriptor: apple and blackcurrant corial. I defy anyone to drink this beer and not taste that. Despite its sweetness, the finish isn't too cloying, thus a great beer to consume by the litre... although it is nearly 6% so make sure to have some currywurst on hand for damage limitation. Bottle. Copper coloured with a decent white frothy head. Aroma of grains, malts and little dose of noble hops. Taste is grainy, bready, slightly spicy with some caramel. The hops come back in the aftertaste. Medium carbonation. Balanced. Nice session beer. GregMooreNH (247) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 28, 2017
Pours dark golden with ample head. Aroma is caramel and distinctive Munich hops. Taste is toffee and dried fruit with a hint of hoppiness. A decent marzen and very drinkable. cmacklin (1370) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 10, 2017
On tap. Pours a clear gold with a medium, creamy off-white head that leaves plenty of lace. Mild aroma of toasted malt, grain, caramel and a hit of citrus. Sweet flavour of toasted malt, biscuit, caramel, honey and lemon with a dry, mild, bitter grass finish. Light to medium body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Clean and easy drinking.

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2017 Weak crystal malt aroma. Very well balanced bitter and sweet with a hint of caramel. Quite neutral taste overall. Also quite sessionable considering it's 5.8 abv. ALIBALI (2689) - Kiel, GERMANY - NOV 7, 2017

a wonderful O'Fest beer. Want to know what an Oktoberfest beer is to taste like????
Drink one of these, I dare you. You wont be able to stop.
There is considerable malt in this one, more than others I have tried, but it is VERY good.
Wonderful!!!!! Theydon_Bois (21411) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 27, 2017
Keg at RS HW, 27/10/17.
Clear golden copper with a decent off white head.
Nose is bready malts, light citric peel, straw, toasted bread, caramel.
Taste comprises caramel, fruit slice, straw, toffee, biscuit, dried fruits, light brown sugar dusting.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close
OK for style but expected more from an old skool top 50 for style ... a little thin and lacking in depth. adamnowek (3503) - Brussels, BELGIUM - OCT 23, 2017
Very nice caramel/scotch colour. Clear. Moderately sized head. Aroma is malt. Taste is more malt with a slightly woody character.
