Bottle @ Getranke Hoffmann, Flensburg. Pours clear amber with a white head. Grain, bread and a bit of caramel. Fairly hoppy end. Medium bodied. Ok.

500ml bottle (BeerAngel) - stolen off Jarkko at work - thanks!
Rich reddy brown, healthy head. At first a slightly plasticky aroma, but as it warms the malts fill out, and it becomes quite grainy eventually. Pleasant carbonation, refreshing palate. Taste initially a bit metallic. As it warms, again, the softer malts come through and it’s a pleasantly husky graininess that you’re left with. Half a litre disappeared very quickly.

Bottle. Dark copper colour, small head. Looks flat. A little malty. The alcohol stands out a bit, perhaps it is because of the combination with a hop flavour that is a little harsh. Mild carbonation, which I like. Good mouthfeel.

Benzai (15579) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - OCT 14, 2013
50cl fliptop bottle [thanks to bierkoning] @ home. Clear dark orange color, medium sized white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma and taste are malts, caramel, a soft sweetness, lightly bread, figs. Medium body and carbonation. Nice.

bhensonb (15187) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 4, 2007
Aroma of caramel malt and apple? Amber color with a white head that was respectable and laced in a mild way. A bit thin bodied, and mild, crunchy carbonation with apple flavor? Grape? Some kind of light fruit. Verly slightly sweet. Floral hop really makes this nice. It is just so clean and refreshing. Very tasty.

DSG (14764) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - DEC 9, 2013
Bottle shared at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. As "Hacker-Pschorr Original Oktoberfest Amber Marzen". Clear amber. Aroma of malt, a bit of caramel and cardboard. Sweetish flavor with malt, a bit of caramel, a hint of toast, oxidation and a finish with a bitterish note. Light to medium-bodied. Best before 5/14, but not fresh enough.

imdownthepub (14546) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 8, 2009
Bottled, swing top, 500ml from Westholme Stores, Goring on Thames, Oxon. Copper with white head. I really quite enjoyed this marzen, fruity full bodied, soft and pulpy in character, some caramel without getting dry, a little sweetish, but not much in the way of hops. Quite reasonable.

Draft in Florida. Poured a copper color with small creamy off-white head that was lasting. Good well balanced toasted aroma. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Moderate sweet flavor with an average finish. Good brew.
