Murky dark orange color with off-white head. Aroma has sweet, slightly caramelized malt and some banana. Taste is also on the sweet side with nice wheat notes and some yeast. Medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Quite good dunkelweizen.

50cl bottle. Murky orange pour with a tall off-white head that gives way to a thick lacing. Notes of bananas, coriander, yeast, a bit of dust, overripe fruit. Medium body and carbonation and a bitter-sweet finish.

500ml bottle conditioned. Appearance is cloudy orange/brown with an off white head which retains well. Aroma is honey, banana and sone yeast. The taste is medium sweet and light bitter. There is very little, if any, spice that i normally associate with wheat beer. This is a very decent Hefe though.

Two 500ml swing-top bottles poured into a 1 litre bier stein. It is Oktoberfest after all! Dark burnt orange, with a feisty white foam. Head held OK (after dropping to a third after 5 minutes) with decent lacing until the end (which was a while). Aroma of sweet toffee, banana and some dark fruits - but quickly the banana became the predominant scent. Nice, pleasant smell - but no "oh wow!" factor. Sweet on the medium heavy side. Light to medium body, average carbonation and finish that dropped in intensity quick quickly but left a hint of banana aftertaste for a medium length. All in all. a very nice beer - and very filling. Was well and truly done after those two bottles.

500ml bottle pours cloudy orange-amber with a large white head and good lacing. The aroma is honey, wheat, banana, clove, caramel. The flavor is nice, medium sweet for the style, good caramel/honey base, nice balanced wheat with some clove-like spice. Just a touch of bitterness. Medium-bodied and smooth with prickly carbonation. Good.
