Cask at the Duke of Wellington, London. Pours clear yellow with a creamy, white foam head. Light aroma of delicate lemon and straw. Light swet flavor with dry pale malts, mild dough, some lemony citrus. Light of body and finely carbonated. Faintly drying to finish, light sweet with some further sun-kissed pale malts and lemon citrus. Basic and refreshing. cgarvieuk (24230) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 19, 2012

Cask at the Duke Of Wellington beer festival. The pour’s slightly hazy gold in color with a tiny white head. The nose is lemony fresh hops, some straw and pear. Sugary shortbread biscuit. The taste is slightly syrupy sweet summer fruits. Notes of honeyed cereal. Creamy mouthfeel. Soft finish. Light body, soft carbonation. Overall, a pleasant half!
