Cask at Whey Pat Ale Festival, St Andrews. Light copper with thin white head. Nose is a fruity one with some hoppy tones and some balancing malts. Mouth is malty, some alcohol, some sweet bitterness and fruitiness. Good, if a bit watery. gary07734 (500) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JUN 1, 2008
UPDATED: JUN 18, 2008 On draft in Newcastle.
Creamy head, light amber pint. Looks very presentable.
Taste is fresh fruit and bitter, with a nice dry finish. A very enjoyable english ale. Finn (8687) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAY 18, 2008
Gravity at the charming pub The Swan, Little Totham - Essex 3 May 08. Golden colored. Modest fruity aroma. Almost no head. Watery impression but sweet bitter finish. Rune (14169) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAY 18, 2008
Half, cask version (gravity dispense) served at a perfect drinking temperature at the Essex pub The Swan. Clear copper body with a naked surface. Some fruity esters in flavour. Bitterness towards the end can be perceived. Average English bitter (Little Totham, 03.05.2008). hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2008
Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Dark gold with a gentle malt aroma. Sweet fruity taste and a crisp bitter finish. I know there’s not much more to say, but I really liked this.

On draught: Light amber coloured, creamy, lacing layer, distinctive fruity-malty and - that’s understood - hoppy nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour; some malt and juicy fruit detectable in the bitter finish. Well crafted stuff........... DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 17, 2007
Aroma is roasty malts with floural and bittering hops. Taste is a bit fruity, mainly malty an floural hops, drinkabl enough but unexciting. omhper (26213) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 26, 2007
UPDATED: MAR 1, 2007 Cask at Southwestern Arms, Southampton. Nut brown. Roasty ashy nose. Fairly dry and light bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Some bready rye malt flavour. Lingering resiny bitterness. Pretty good, but not very special. harrisoni (19859) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - FEB 13, 2007
Cask gravity at Battersea BF 2007. First beer of the day. Crystal clear amber colour with disappearing head. Some good stony hard water, some nice citrusy hop. It’s a bitter. More hard water in mouth, pretty nice rose petal and then earthy dry finish. Fine. Mungo (2470) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - FEB 13, 2007
Gravity Cask @ Battersea Beer Festival. Caramel and light berries on the nose. Fullish toasty body with some fruit tartness and growing sweetness in the finish. Slightly lacking in bitterness to round it off.
