UPDATED: MAR 1, 2007 Cask at Southwestern Arms, Southampton. Nut brown. Roasty ashy nose. Fairly dry and light bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Some bready rye malt flavour. Lingering resiny bitterness. Pretty good, but not very special. harrisoni (19876) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - FEB 13, 2007
Cask gravity at Battersea BF 2007. First beer of the day. Crystal clear amber colour with disappearing head. Some good stony hard water, some nice citrusy hop. It’s a bitter. More hard water in mouth, pretty nice rose petal and then earthy dry finish. Fine.

Bright copper - looks great. Earthy-fruity nose with a light toast character. Earthy-metallic taste with some woody hops emerging towards the finish. Mostly, I’m not a fan of the overall toastiness of this one. imdownthepub (15752) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 18, 2003
UPDATED: FEB 13, 2010 Cask Conditioned. The brewery is now called Hadrian & Border after a couple of amalgamations. Light orange with medium head, malty sharp with soft bitterness. Tea like finish, but passable. 2.9 Rune (14171) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAY 18, 2008
