Clear dark copper, slim white head and no lacing. Nose is woody ginger biscuit and copper. Coons. Initial taste is very smooth, tinny lemon and almost tea like bitterness. Carbonation is sleek and mouthfeel a little sticky. Plays out nice enough, bit of rye bites for mostly a smooth coppery bitter with a nice citrus lifted all very middle of the road.

Cask, The Bailie, Edinburgh

Cask at The Bishops Mill (JDW), 2.05/pint Pours dark ruby amber with thick, fluffy, white head. Theres a pleasant aroma of corn and tropical fruit. Flavour has an interesting caramel malt and tropical fruit combination to produce a rich, rather milky, sweet palate though which some grassy dryness to the finish. I didnt really enjoy this one.

Cask. Dark brown with a thick cream top. Nose is lemony and has a bit of malty dryness. Taste is surprising. Lemons and a light burnt toffee. Surprisingly bitter too. Finish is long and bitter.
